But why on earth we are talking about North Korea nincompoops when the real discussion should be focussed on South Korea-Pakistan.

What's wrong with us?

Why must we associate our beautiful country with the worst possible kids in the world.

Production of Cluster Munitions by Hanwha Corp.

Hanwha Corp. is involved in the production of cluster munitions which are prohibited under the Convention on Cluster Munitions. Due to the company’s involvement in the production of cluster munitions, the Ethical Council of the Norwegian Pension Fund has excluded Hanwha from their investment universe.[1] In 2007, Hanwha confirmed to Norway’s Government Pension Fund that they manufacture 2.75 in Multipurpose Submunitions (MPSMs) as well as the 130mm Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS).[2] They also lead the new South Korean MLRS programme and produces fuses for various cluster munitions.[3] The company website lists the M577A1 mechanical fuse and the M732 electronic proximity fuse, both of which are used in cluster munitions. Additionally, Hanwha has offered Claymore anti-personnel mines at arms fairs.

Wah Cantonment - April 12, 2008:

Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, received the first lot of 155 millli meter, Base Bleed (BB) Dual Purpose Improvised Conventional Munition (DPICM) Ammunition from Chairman Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board, Lieutenant General Syed Sabahat Hussain in an impressive ceremony held at Pakistan Ordnance Factory. The ceremony was attended by high ranking military officers, Ambassador of South Korea Mr Shin Un, Chairman POONGSAN, Mr Jin Roy Ryu. DPICM Ammunition is state of the art ammunition which Pakistan Ordnance Factory has successfully produced through a joint venture with Korean Firm M/S POONGSAN. The Chief of Army Staff lauded the services of Pakistan Ordnance Factories towards strengthening national defence.

Earlier, Chairman Pakistan Ordnance Factories informed the audience that Pakistan Ordnance Factory has embarked upon a technology driven road map to provide latest arms and ammunition to Pakistan Armed Forces and DPICM joint venture was the first milestone, he said many more projects are also underway.

Pakistan doesn't have something unique that they will be looking for.

Unless Pakistan is trying to do a joint venture, sell small arms or buy something from them.

Agosta subs, Pak has license to build but is too stupid to get anything done

What do you think S. Korea cares about? Its only about money. Some retd general is going to make a case that Pakistan needs something from S. Korea that the POF can already build.
