Sir how about a new theory. Thunders have BVRs, good takeoff and landing distances...few of them could be deployed to any FOAB, may not be Multan but some other unknown strip in the area.

yep no fighters was seen but some time mushaqs and other little birds can be seen over muzfer gardh ali pur yazman bhawalpur vihari area .

Fighters don't go in multan. Although Cobra gunships are stationed there. So , probably some exercises.

Airspace of 70 Nm was closed off.

But 2 PIA flights were also diverted, and that costs alot of money.

When my father used to go on flights at night, with formations on some kind of exercises, airspace was not closed off.

Maybe some yanks coming with some Cobras.?

Yeah exercise doesn't make any sense since area is densely populated.. If jets are being stationed then question is where?
