The best and easiest way to deal with Afghanistan and the region is to outsource the entire matter to Pakistan. USA is there to keep its bases not to establish peaceful Afghanistan. Its an agent of controlled chaos. USA has done absolutely nothing to bring peace to the country. In fact it has been fighting Taliban, the biggest rebel group of the country. Taliban has a legitimate claim over their country. Taliban are a creation of chaos of the 4 decades that actually emanated from the desire to defeat Soviets in Afghanistan.

USA could have tried political approach. It always relied on its military instead. In fact USA is so insincere that in order to defend Israel's interest in Middle East, it sanctioned Iran and has created tension with Pakistan. Both Iran and Pakistan are most important neighbors of Afghanistan. How can there be peace in Afghanistan without Pakistan and Iran on board?
