Pak restrics religious freedom, practice : US

No doubt, Pakistan is becoming very dangerous place specially for minorities .The main reason is that Government has No Will to give punishment. It happens when you demand votes from banned militant organisations, and when you comes in power, Then certain elements in the government doesn't care.
Look the Sequence of Gojra incident, Lahore christian incident, Rawalpindi incident, Gujranwala incident.
No punishment to culprits. Hundreds , thousands of people gathers, and they finishes their job with no fear even in front of police.

There are no obstacles to emigrate from USA, true, but what about the rules for immigrating into these other countries? That is where the barriers are. Hmmmmm. :D

You must be mentally challenged . No legal barriers there either.

.
Hmmm...according to my own personal observation Pakistan has definitely deteriorated in this regards.

For example, I specifically remember in the 90's it was still fine and normal that we used to greet our christian neighbours Happy Christmas.....now fast forward to 2014.....if I say Khuda Hafiz it's akin to saying something in martian language...some people consider it borderline blasphemy.

Its a matter of perception. Perhaps media coverage has something to do with it?

My Christian neighbor in Pakistan and I exchange cakes on Christmas and Eid respectively.

In case you've noticed, conviction rate is abysmally low as it is. I am not saying that one should not care about lack of convictions. I am just pointing out the trend that makes it easy for perpetrators to elude justice because our justice system is so overwhelmed, inefficient, and Byzantine.

. . . . . . . . .
Pakistan 's parliament declared Ahmadi as non Muslim in 1974. It seem USA was sleeping before and just find time to read the constitution of Pakistan lol

On topic: yea we are lacking tolerance in our society. To call someone non Muslims or to disagree with their religious beliefs is one thing but to use violence against them is another.

.
Back to the topic, do you think that minorities in Pakistan have the freedom in reality what the Constitution offers them on paper?

Discrimination from the government? No. From a misguided section of society? Yes. Very unfortunate indeed.

I am happy to see minorities active in Pakistani society despite some misguided elements:

See dude, there is a difference. US does not harm its own Muslims or do blasphemy neither it is supported by any party in US. US might do whatever but when it comes to US citizen, US government is very sincere. They don't take responsibility of christians in other countries or muslims in other countries. Where as Pakistan call himself care taker of muslim world and inside their house the Sharia protects the people via Islam sellers, who are anti non Muslims. There is no court or place where a non Muslim in Pakistan can go.

We dont see as care taker of anybody so keep this half baked information to yourself. What happens in Pakistan is Pakistan's internal matter. Mind your own business

Unfortunately, the trend is for such misguided elements to gain more potency, aided by the idiotic steps taken by the government such as the Blasphemy Laws.
