Is there a normal driving license and then another, motorway driving license in Pakistan ?
Can't get this news.

. . . .
Been living here for 40 Years.

I'll believe it when I see it... By the time someone gets down here with that License, rules will already have been changed.

Plus every Emirate has its own Traffic Rules. Most are common, but then you actually get Fined the one thing you're not certain about.

Yes, i guess so. As per my knowledge in Islamabad NHA issue's you driving license. but for that you have to give them proof that you're resident of islamabad.

That's right ... In Abu Dhabi if you have 5 year old Pakistani license you don't have to take compulsory 30 classes just give direct final test also known as Golden Try.

It's always better to go for all the classes to acquaint yourself with the rules and besides you will only learn something in the end.

Nah the emirate is hungry for having more people come to live here.
They will give more and more concessions and make it lucrative so don't worry.

Good job by the govt. Now raise the standards of all the licensing authorities. BTW there should be a one single authority under the ministry of transportation as in many countries.

There is one driving licence in use everywhere in the world. Everything is upside in pakistan. WTF is a motorway police driving licence and who cares?

Not true though. This idiocy is present here in Canada as well. Driver's Licences are issued by provincial authorities so if you move provinces you have to get your's converted. Worse is the vehicle registration system and certification; when you move you have to get your car re-certified in the new province and also get new plates.

I believe it's the same in the US as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
