Pak Hindus seek safety in India (10 families migrate to India every week)

Minorities in any third world country have safety problems.... The thing is how much the state is involved in criminal activities against minorities..... In feudal areas of Pakistan its not the minority only who face discrimination, injustice ... all Pakistani face them.....

Can we make a sticky for Hindu's attacked/Kidnapped/killed/forcefully converted in pakistan ?


And pakistani members keep blabbering about safety of minorities in India and keep ranting about a single incident occurred more then a decade ago! duh!

Anybody feeling unsafe in Pakistan, and wants to legally come to India, will be always welcomed by Indians. Be it Hindu, A shia or sunni, ahmaddiya or baluchi muslim or christian or sikhs. anybody and everybody is welcome.
But please come legally through proper channels.

I don't care bout proper and improper channel. I am India and India has always helped ppl forced out of there land. Be it refugees of 1947, 71. be it our KP brothers or Bengali brothers...


When Muslim are hurt they see towards Pakistan, when cristians are hurt they look towards America, When Hindu are hurt they need a country to look towards.

If i was the Queen of Pakistan, I would bring all Sindhi Hindus, Punjabi Sikhs and Hindus and Kashmiris Pandits back to Pakistan.. that is where they belong... Sadhana, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor are Pakistanis, they are OUR people in my opinion and I am willing to trade them with Muslims from Karachi...

Just let me be the next prime minister of Pakistan.. i don't like artificial displacement of ppl in the name of religion..

I presume by Muslims of Karachi, you mean the Mujahirs, didn't you? Good looking people in exchange of Bihari Muslims, is it?

well... I don't believe in 2 nation theory in the name of religion.. and ppl getting displaced and loosing their identities...

We don't care about other nation. We are happy that Hindus are migrating to India. I am happy. If I will become PM I will make india Visa free for Hindus.

Note: I believe in Indian secularism and I like My Indian Muslim bros.

I appreciate your concern, and thanks for the empathy. Not only non Muslims forced to move out, but the ppl Muslims came from india had not given the respect. I don know how much it is true, but I heard that Musims were labelled as Mohazir and were discriminated based on there skin color. I was appalled to hear that Muslims were not treated good in pakistan only coz they came from hindustan.

Where as the ppl migrated to India, India treated them well, many of them are contributing good for India.

Kashmiri Pandits, Punjabi Hindus, Pathan Hindus etc... were fair skinned.. and majority of Indians started worshipping them.. as we all know how much Indians are obsessed with fair complexion... Madhubala, Ranbir Kapoor etc are good examples of such people .. Check the thread where Indian film directors pay "goras" to work as extras in their films

Its really sad to see that our society isnt more tolerant towards minorities. They should foremostly be recognized as Pakistanis - everything else should be secondary. Most people living as a miority strive to be successful and generally speaking are. Perhaps its ignorance, perhaps it jealousy. One thing is for certain tolerance and behaviors changed in the 1980s in Pakistan - and went downhill. Its pathetic and wish our feeble government made more of an effort to stop the minorities leaving their land. Must be incredibly hard to lift everything you have, belongings and memories and leave your home.
Lets hope it changes soon.

Please don't try to fool me... I was talking with a Kashmiri Pandit named Robin Zutshi on facebook and here is his reply.. in unabridged form...

"there is a great divide between the south indians and nothern, while the former are called madrasis by the latters, the latters are called punjabis. the noth indian people think south indian people are dirty and smelly wearign dhoti and lungi. the southies think punjabis are rowdy and unethical"

Don't always try to portray that everything is good in India and everything is bad in Pakistan... However, I have to give credit to those Indians who are honest and blunt... and don't try to portray that everything is perfect in India.

why would they be discriminated against.. when 98% Indians are dark.. I mean when ur grandfather sister escaped from East Pakistan and settled in India.. no one could tell that she is from a different place.. she would have gelled well with Indians.. but not the case with people who displaced from [West] Pakistan and moved to India and vice versa..
