This might sound a bit harsh, but why is it that proximity to Pushtun areas is always a troubling proposition for minorities?

Growing up we were always taught that Pathans were the most loyal and hospitable group of people.. What has changed??

And you are right about those rich Sindhi Hindus, they were in business and one in fashion..basically I understood that being in fashion is considered liberal and it's easier for them to engage in it being Hindu..I could be wrong but that was how I read it..,thoughts?

Sindhi hindus refused to leave till Muhajirs came in 47 and literarly started massacring them and occupiyng their homes. While pashtuns didn't touch sikhs living in their area...

Sindhi hindus in Urban are ''upper caste'', they are like sindhi hindus of India. Both groups are well off in Pakistan and India. But OP is quite clearly dalit/adivisasi tribe from Sindh who are very poor people in general.

Don't we have our own mouths to feed and our own minorities to secure? India isn't the US with insane resources and money to support political refugees...

These Hindus chose their destiny and decided to stay with Pakistan out of vested interest..suddenly they are in trouble and try to run back to their "motherland"? How opportunistic of them. They have to suffer the consequences of their actions...

To me I would support an Indian Muslim anyday before a Hindu from Pakistan because these Muslims chose india...I feel closer to them than these Hindus and in my mind they come first!

India has already 60 million Bangladeshi Muslims living illegally. Those Hindus who in Pak stayed back were assured protection. But they got cheated.

How India has benefited from keeping Muslims? Most of them don't even pay tax. They just live off welfare and handouts.

You are right .We must kept the religion away from this issues.
But it has some limitations and probably impractical in ground situation.
Our Constitution ,GoI and state govts give extra privileges to our minorities. Allowing same foreign minorities only cause
abusing of such privileges by foreigners.And it may adversely affect our minorities and social fabrication.
But Hindus dont have that problem since they dont have any .

Wrt. Your first para...I agree, illegal banglas need to be booted..unfortunately it is our own fault by electing govts. that use these illegals as vote banks to benefit their political agendas...
As far as these Hindus are concerned, they need to suffer for their decisions..that's the price you pay for choosing pak over india..I have no sympathy for them..they had the choice to live in a secular pluralistic society..they chose otherwise

Second para..what do you mean how has india benefitted from keeping Muslims?!!! That's a ridiculous statement! Muslims are as much Indian as you and I! They pledge allegiance to our country just like u and I( talking purely about those that chose india after partition). Of course you will find some bad apples but same is the case for Hindus..
If we start talking about what good came out of keeping Muslims, then we have to start by analyzing the net contribution of each citizen, region, groups of people...next you want to get rid of up and Bihar coz they are poor states and a drain on our economy?!!!

Broheim, partition based on religion was demanded by pak not india! India wanted to accept all religions and people. So those who chose Pakistan need to stay and suffer the consequences...charity begins at home and I would rather help the millions of hindu and Muslim Indians in dire conditions than these opportunists who remember us only when they are in trouble!

And I agree with you, Sindhis are extremely patriotic Indians( the ones that moved here post partition) but not these cats...they chose their destiny..
Indian Sindhis to me are like the Jews in the us...extremely successful, politically active and organized! Kudos to them for making their unfortunate situation turn into a positive for themselves!
