Over and again some people are talking of this formal apology. On a personal level, if someone does you any wrong, do you ask for an apology? An apology is an apology only when it's spontaneous, not demanded nor manipulated out.

Now put yourself in their shoes and think about the implications of a formal apology. If they apologize then this would be accepted and advertised in Indian and Awami controlled BD media and Zionist controlled world media that Muslim Pakistan admitted killing of 3million of their own people and raping of 0.2 million women in '71. In both Pakistan and Bangladesh this would permanently shut up the mouths of Muslims talking of Muslim brotherhood and strengthen the notion (put up by some ‘seculars&#8217 of the fatal failure of Islam as the binding glue. This would severely undermine the very foundation of Pakistan. Also BAL sponsored BD demand wouldn't restrict itself to a formal apology. Once a formal apology is secured they would demand compensation and would be able to secure that too exercising the influence of islamophoebic anti-Pakistani 'international community'. And I think you know till to this day Germany is giving compensation to Israel for 'killing 6million Jews’.

Now what is the difference between India and Bangladesh if Islamic nationhood ‘fails’ and what is the point of two separate countries?

A formal apology would only serve the interests of India and those Bangladeshis who think Islam should obey them instead of them obeying Islam and don't care to raise their children as Muslims.

I dont think BD need any apology. But an apology will help Pakistan but ofcourse if they really opt to do the right thing. Right thing what Pakistan hardly ever tried.

If the U.S will divert her attention to Pakistan then its going to make a huge mistake. We are a nuclear power and they will reunite us as a nation and will force our relationship with the China, Iran, and Russia to get stronger. If we close the supply line there is nothing they can do other than crying....
Yes they give us aid, but its just peanuts, only 1 or 2% of our GDP so yeah blocking that will make no difference and we have survived world sanctions before......

Look at per capita income of East Pakistan in 1947 and 1968. And compare that with per capita income of West Pakistan of 1947 and 1968.

Which million industry you are talking about? Garments factories which just sewing clothes are not real industry. Besides, did Bangladesh in last 40 years built industries according to its potential? We have been performing much below our potential. So considering injustices we have done to ourselves its hardly any vantage point to point finger on others. That is not to raise debate on Bangladesh independence.

^^US has a black president, that does not mean racism does not exist in the USA. The fact of the matter was we were highly under represented in the military and the government. The budget was not fairly distributed and all the bigger institutions were in west Pakistan. Fact of the matter is these discriminations is what lead to the Bangladeshi nationalism.

Bringing a Bangali for the language movement is comical at its best. It was all started by your beloved Jinnah who came to East Pakistan and said "east pakistan's language should be Urdu", that short sited man, he is the one who planted the seeds of Bangladeshi nationalism. If you ever visit Quebec, you will know how 2 different languages can coexist so beautifully. Bangla language is beautiful and wouldn't trade it with anything else. Why didn't West Pakistan chance her language to bangla?

Urdu is not mother language of any Pakistani, we hav punjabi, sindhi, balochi and pashto as mother tounge, but we have it as national language we speak and love it, its symbol of nationalism, and what bangladesh did about language that was totaly drama by some traitors. In my life i hav talked to bangalis why the want it now and ask to learn it now?

By now Bangladesh is ahead of many of the hdi indices then Pakistan.

Some major progress has been made in terms of literacy as it is higher then Pakistan,

So virtually Bangladesh lagged Pakistan 40-45 years but in reality it is no more then 5-7 years which will be passed in the next 2 decades. Since 2008 Bangladesh is passed Pakistan in terms of GDP growth and it is unlikely to reverse. Already it has been mentioned Bangladesh will remain as one of the top 4 fastest growing economy for the next 40 years in the world and by 2050 it will have bigger economy then Pakistan despite having 1.5 time less population.

your major textile market has already shifted to Bangladesh of around 40% and since 2008 our growth rate has exceeded your. Its a matter of time we will overtake you economically.

Even many Pakistani RMG businesses are shifting their operations to Bangladesh.
