Foreign policy is best conducted by democratically elected civilian governments. It is never the military's job to conduct or interfere in foreign policy without proper constitutionally mandated oversight.

USA has a history of working directly with their selected partners that they can influence rather than those who are chosen by the people to conduct their affairs, and it usually ends in tears for all sides sooner or later.

he went there with the consent of elected government of the ppl... i get ur point, but this man has done a lot to change the image of Pak army... in past 5 years, he got a dozen chances to overthrow the corrupt and incompetent government, and a number of players instigated him too to take over, but he didnt

There is a delicoius irony to that. On the one hand; the USA is the world's strongest Democracy; but has not hesitated to get into bed with a motley crew of Despotic Dictators and Military Strongmen the world over and over so many decades.
The results of that strange consorting is there for the world to see and to feel! :azn:
