Does artillery help much? I think not. I think Pak would be better off sending f-16s and JFs for precision bombings which would result in less civilian casualty and more of ttp. Heck, send in SSG too to capture fazullah.

Why do you think that Pakistani forces expected civilian casualties?@AM told me that if you attack knowing fully well that there would be civilian casualty is terrorism. I want to see his comments now.
Why do you think that Pakistani forces expected civilian casualties?
Unlike US drone strikes, based on real time imaging that show nearby residential compounds and in many cases show women and children in or around the compound being targeted, Pakistani forces based their artillery strikes on much more vague information of terrorist camps on the Afghan side (if indeed the Afghan allegation is true).

And we will use the same argument levelled against us.
Fazlullah is loitering in Nooristan and Molvi Faqir and Hakim Ullah in Kunar .. these are the places that have been forsaken by the mighty NATO forces and Taliban , virtually run these places and launch attacks against Pakistan.
why the Afghan Government doesnt establish its writ in those areas? if they cant stop the terrorists from using those places to use as the safe heavens for launching attacks against Pakistan then we also have to use whatever force we can.
if Drone strikes are justified then our artillery strikes are also.
Not to mention that the Pakistanis have moved their forces into attacking mode after 10 years of patience and silence. Moreover the approach by the international community is that if there is a threat to you, you are allowed to attack back.
We have done the same. There are ALWAYS consequences to war, if you don't like it then end this policy of attacking other countries globally.
Afghanistan should first stop attacking our towns with drones.
UN can't a sh******t about us..........let them cry, beg , scream and suffer there. We are so glad go on dear Mr Karzai.........
So you are claiming incompetence instead of complicity (for targeting civilians).. Somehow this story sounds familiar
Afghanistan doesnt have any drones, It was United States that is attacking your tribal areas.
OBL Raid, Salala Incident, As of today 304 drone strikes.
Yes of course they are loitering in Afghanistan, So as Jallaudin haqqani and sirajuddin haqqani in North waziristan province of Pakistan.
I am not sure the following people were discussing issues like Global warming in Tribal areas of Pakistan.
The Long War Journal - Senior al Qaeda and Taliban leaders killed in US airstrikes in Pakistan, 2004 - 2011

Pakistan to go to the UN against US drone strikes is a waste of time and effort as the US and Britain would veto any resolution against the Yanks. And needless to say, Pakistan cannot do much against these drone and cross border attacks except dominating the area by artillery and rocket fire. But this again will have limited effect due to the extent of the international border that needs to be guarded. And as for going to UN, i wonder did Pak ever said to go to UN after so many deadly raids happening which are launched from Afghanistan. Heck, even the drone strikes are carried out from the Afghan territory, did we said we will go to UN for Afghanistan letting USofA use its soil for launching attacks on Pak soil.
