I wonder if this was another 26/11 attempt. The Mumbai terrorists arrived by sea in 2008. The whispers were that they were trained by the Pakistani Navy for this but the operation was not ordered by the Pakistani military.

The effect of 26/11 was to raise tensions between India and Pakistan and thus it froze attempts to gain greater civilian control of the ISI and its terror outfits. Perhaps the Indian Coast Guard just stopped a similar effort that was meant to stop Pakistan's reaction to the 16/12 school slayings in its tracks.

Well this is a valid question and it is unclear as of now how the authorities know this. Was it by visual observation by thew MPA and or ICG vessel or was it from the content of the intercepts, maybe a combination of both?


Again, it is unclear as of now. It is a bit much to ask for all this information to be out a few hours after the event. Additionally the Indian agencies have every right to try and protect their operational security and giving away specific information about how they attained certain information could seriously hamper their intelligence gathering abilities in the future.

Why providing evidence falls on us when it comes to Pakistan, it was intelligence which intercepted the call and provided the description of boat and everything, Indian Government has not directly told Pakistan is involved, if and when it will happen it will come with evidence and as always you and your government will tell the evidence is all BS and our Pakistani word must be taken as truth, because it is the most peaceful and secular country in whole world.
