FT-5 legacy in Pakistan Air force.

Leading the formation is one of the first FT-5 and No.2 is the last FT-5.. Pakistani modifications are visible.. most prominent is the ability to fire AIM-9P missiles.. In addition to training the new pilots, FT-5 was also deployed for anti UAV and engaging light enemy targets.

Commissioned painting depicting S/L Mohammad Yousaf, covering the leader's tail while the leader, S/L Hameed Qadri guns down his second kill.

The dogfight took place over Parachinar, Pakistan, on 17 May, 1986, just before sun rise. 2 Afghan SU-22s crossed the border and were intercepted and shot down. These were the first Pakistani F-16 kills.
