You will not see F-16 in these operations unless it becomes necessary, reason given is due to low position of it's intake and powerful engines, there's danger of FOD.

Love my PAF to the bottom of my heart. On a lighter note seeing Dr Farhan Virk talk about PAF and the motor way was a pleasant surprise. Normally we are flooded with his Political Satire.

No such issues with JF-17.

Properly planned motorway runway option and with dispersal area

Sweden sqn actually deploy on regular basis if I am not mistaken for weeks at a time to practise as its conscript based airforce so except few full time rest all sqn is part time like US air guard units

This also means the motorway has alternative routes planned as a section is closed for air operations and not the whole motorway

M1 and M2 has alternative bypasses?? And only section will need to be closed ??
