What proof do you have that IAF planes radars or any other avionics was not workibg? Regarding your statement about commercial jets let me remind you that it carries more then 300 people at an average and are very expensive, inorder for a commercial plane to get permission to fly all it's avionics needs to be properly working, it's preflight checks are more stringent then and fighter plane. Go ask an aviation engineer.
I not said that commercial jets are not checked properly but they not need to do tasks which fighter jets are required to do and multitasking is more in fighterjets than commercial planes and they must be fast and have very little time for decision making so if they are unable to get information and make maneuvers within time they will fail in combat.

. . .
Unfortunately things cant be disclosed in public.

BUT what can be disclosed is, like many PAF battles beofre, the one on the 27th of Feb 2019, will be used as a benchmark, and taught in fighter schools.

Why go to such lengths to obscure and not share a victory?

You still did not answer my question, what proof do you have that IAF planes we're not fit to fly or they failed in combat

This is the unique mindset of the insular Pak deep state. Info for them is only a privilege to be shared with the goras they worship. They don't give 2 fs about the people that pay their salary
Theres a more optimistic/strategic way of looking at this. INformation is only useful as long as u can leverage it or use it to ur advantage.. who that information is passed on to doesn't make any difference. Pak Mil doesnt boast or count dead bodies laid by our snipers or soldiers. we take pride in achieving victories but not in wasting of enemy lives to reach victory. death is a sad reality even if its enemy's. Pakistan has circumstancial evidence of the second kill and possibly has other Intel and doesnt want to share that intel as it might reveal source of that info. saying things like 'gora masters' or other such degrading statements reflects ur lack of understanding of the way states function.

Or it shows your lack of understanding of how third world former colonies function. Why do you think, what reason or justification is there for PAF to share info exclusively with a foreign, yes "gora" journalist in exclusion of local journalists?

Typing away with a condescending blather does nothing to your credibility.

Evidence that we are still serving the whims of foreign powers is rife. If you did not have your head so far up your...

Sir, kindly update yourself in strategic management of narratives. An impartial western journalist has a reach beyond what any domestic journalist would have in a country with a nationalist mind-set, and in conflicts where national pride reigns supreme, domestic journalists can be perceived as biased or can even be perceived as projecting a state-sponsored narrative abt the conflict. In my opinion the only reason to use a foreign journalist is to reach a broader reader base to be able to effectively project our narrative and our version of the engagement. again, this is a matter of running the state and every decisions pros and cons need to be vetted individually and the action with the most favorable outcome is selected. Its not abt licking someone's boots. there was a time when it could've been said of Pakistani mentality but the current leadership has clearly demonstrated that they do not carry that mindset. besides, Alan Warnes highly respects our air force due to their professionalism and the professional culture AND he is highly respected all over the world so I think i was the most ideal platform to disseminate information through. Until we have a local aviation journalist with similar credentials, we shouldn't blame our leadership of having slave mentality. you cant blame someone for exercising the only option available for attaining a certain result.

The kind of outdated language you are using Sir doesn't help your argument to "update" anything

I understand logic is not natural to everyone. How is it, Sir, that you only have to give info to a gora or a domestic? In some universe people give press releases to all journalists.

Now let us look back at the condescending language you entered this discussion with and have a good laugh.

Excellent. You have well expressed the real reason behind using a foreign journalist of repute.

Press releases makes it official in a way that an unpublished interview does not. I re-read my posts, didnt see any condescending language used - kindly point me in the right direction. However, we as a nation need to stop downplaying ourselves by branding our leaders as slave mentality or gora worshipping and what not. Instead, we need to try to find wisdom in such decisions before pointing fingers. However, I am sorry for having offended you with my language.

This is becoming more about your ego than anything else. Why can't they have shared similar unpublished interviews with local journalists?
This isn't one single issue but one repeated again and again... Anyways I have better things to do than engage in the pedantry

My friend, even the ACM said 2.

That's ok, PAF is not into opening scrap yards, they idiots can keep their wreckage.
Haha ok.

Point is, PAF's training/tactics kicked in and they were able to successfully deliver a strike package with deadly precision in broad daylight against the IA, and then fight off the incoming interceptors. PAF was able to work cohesively as a team and employ its force multipliers in an integrated cohesive manner.

Think of the myth and propaganda that was busted. Our Indian Friends have been parroting for the past 10 years that SU30MKI was designed by God himself, in fact it might even be better then the F22 Raptor so its best if PAF surrenders on the first day of the War. Post February 27, IAF was handing out patches to its pilots and celebrating how the SU30MKI is an AMRAAM dodger. But analyze this more closely, is this something to celebrate?

We were told by our Indian Friends that SU30MKI's BARS radar was blessed by Jesus himself. It can operate like a Mini AWAC and burn through any ECM that PAF might possibly employ. But what happened, why couldn't the super duper BARS lock on any PAF fast movers and take BVRAAM shots? On the other hand, PAF fast movers successfully locked and took multiple shots at IAF's fighters. In fact, PAF's response was so aggressive that it forced the SU30MKI's to evade the AMRAAM's, turn around, and bugger out at supersonic speeds. Additional IAF fighters would have gone down if the IAF decided that it wanted to give a fight, but they didn't and exited the combat zone.
Nicely put

I completely agree with you. However I have a question and kindly you dont have to respond if the information I am talking about is confidential: By attacking in broad daylight, I hope the enemy doesnt perceive that as a weakness to not be able to strike at night. I hope PAF is well equipped (at least equally equipped as IAF) to be able to carry out ops after dark.
