PAF fighter jet crashes near Attock , pilot dies

Pakistan Air Force says one of its fighter jets has crashed on a training flight, killing the pilot. The air force says in a statement that the Chinese-made FT-7 aircraft went down because of technical problems near Attock city in the eastern Punjab province on Wednesday. It says the pilot, Lt. Shahryar Nisar, died in the crash, but no loss of civilian life or damage to property was reported. The air force says it has ordered an investigation.
