Periods are not discussed publicly in Pakistani society. That a good enough reason to ban this movie for public release. Its not being retard, backward or conservative. Its just that these are our values.

These values are wrong. The fact that you feel the need to conserve this part of Pakistani culture makes this a conservative issue. It is being retarded, it is being backward, because you cannot stop culture and values from changing. Current Pakistani values probably including things that Pakistani society 50-60 years ago would consider to be evil, but nowadays is considered common sense.

True, but you're forgetting one thing. If something is hindering society from progressing, it should be thrown out, because choices that affect society should be based on progression, not regression.
