Overseas Pakistanis Voting

Has anyone noticed how it is not possible to vote with older NICOP cards as opposed to the more recent smart NICOP cards for overseas Pakistanis?

Some of my family members have new smart NICOP cards. I have an older NICOP card. The newer smart NICOP got registered in an instant though: https://www.overseasvoting.gov.pk/i-voting/

Mine older NICOP shows an error:

I dont know but yes if you have old ones you will have Problems.

Wow that is going to impact a huge number of overseas Pakistanis considering how the majority still have older valid NICOP cards.

Is there any explanation for this screwed up situation from NADRA?

Well, that is a question that not only I, but a sh!t load of overseas Pakistanis with older NICOP cards are going to be asking if this situation happens to be true.

100%. Expires in 2021.

I have other family members with same older NICOP cards. They are getting the same error. Entered multiple times only to get the same error. With the new card the registery happened in one go.

I will wait for the official word, but I think I am certainly not the only one.

Bro I was having the same problem. I was not able to register. I turned 18 a month ago but was unable to register my overseas vote.

Same issue my overseas card expired , didnt have time to renew it cant use it keep getting same error

I think new Machine readable Passports were introduced and also new ID card
You have to renew your card

They introduced a verification system which confirms your identity so people have to go thru that at Embassy
