Overseas Pakistanis Voting

There are some states which give PR on completion of two year study.. among them are Tasmania and Northern Territory..

I have heard that NT has the lowest unemployment rate in Australia.. My brother has oil & gas sector auditing experience and NT has oil refineries and mining businesses.. Do you think it's better for him to go to NT and apply for PR?

States don't have the authority to hand out PRs, but the govt is bringing in a bill that will only allow people to work in regional areas for the first few years once they get their TRs (Temporary residence) before they can apply for a PR. WA is the mining state of Australia so again Perth would be better.

As for Tasmania, its the cheapest place but there is not many jobs there.

Thanks man.. I wanted to say that the states nominate for SC 190 visa.. which is kind of a PR, right?

Anyway, I think I am hijacking the thread.. but as you said, Perth is better..
