Everything is dangerous right now.

My personal bet is we would see either martial law or emergency by Oct (or the time that general elections are to be held).

General Elections are not going to be held.

I feel there might be an emergency with a technocratic setup; realistically there is no option for elections in October. Takes time, money and ground work and we’re not seeing any of that. These cases will drag into the next year.

The other issue is they think even a technocratic government might be able to stabilize the economy. While it’s possible they could; like providing electric shocks to a person who lost his heart beat. But it’ll never be the same again.

Shreen Mazari arrested 3rd time ...she walkout from police station, they arrested her again and send her to jail.

Like why? What the f*ck is this? Even jungles have rules.
According to Kashif Abbasi arrests exceed to 10,000 workers.... This all will end very very bad. Because there is no mediator ...establishment used to be a mediator, but now they are party.

THE SPIRITUALITY OF AN ACTIVIST

HADITH 6

THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED

Abu Huraryah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and give him peace, said, Years of treachery will come to the people when the liar will be regarded as honest and the honest person will be treated as a liar. The traitor will be regarded as faithful, and the faithful person will be seen as a traitor, and the ruwaybidah will speak out about public affairs. It was asked, Who are the ruwaybidah?' He said: Vile and petty men who speak out about the affairs of the masses.' (In Majah)

Smart move by IK to go to the hearing tomorrow.

My personal guess is that he has seen what jail is like, and that he was treated like a VIP (after the arrest at least). So it ain't that bad except no communication with anyone. So he wants to go to jail now.

1- If govt arrests him tomorrow, then he gets to show the world what the govt is doing, protestes might happen, he scores brownie points.

2- If govt does not arrest him, PR disaster for govt. Everyone will think it backed off and is now scared of PTI/IK and the public reaction.

Here's an analogy: A thug wants to rape a girl, so she runs to her house. The thugs came to the house and start beating everyone up and demand that the girl be handed over or they'll kill everyone. They promise that they'll be gentle when they take turns raping her.

Should the family hand her over or fight?

Everyone knows that there's no legal reason to arrest Imran Khan, so why should he hand himself over? Why surrender to a bunch of rapist thugs pretending to be generals when it is known that they're the ones breaking the law?

Why shouldn't the people of Pakistan stand up and resist using every means possible? To surrender to rapist thugs will mean losing all sense of self-respect. Sometimes its better to die fighting than be humiliated.

No good news is coming. People are losing hope while state continues to crush any voice raised against it. The only thing left now is people taking guns in hand and start responding the military junta in the language it understand.
That's the only viable option left for Pakistanis to win theor haqeeqi azadi, not the illusion of azadi given to us by our former colonial masters through their sepoy proxies.
