yes J-10 is a huge success even after 40 years of aviation industry after count less Fighter aircraft development still flies with Russian engine ,Israeli Lavi input and some unknown radars .:china::china:

Hmm, the first domestically developed Chinese Jet was the J-8, it started it R&D cycle in 1964 and only saw production and deployment in 1980. It was on-par with the soviet SU-15, and had a similar design. It could not at all compare with the F-15, F-16, Mig-29, or Su-27 that were introduced within 5 years of that craft. I would call it a failure, from a military stand point at least. At the same time, every countries first attempt at aircraft development without outside help was pretty pathetic.
Just suggesting you be realistic. The LCA is no more a failure than is usual when a country "Goes it alone" for the first time.

they don't care. the current regime of India started this project for pure nationalism purpose, they just want to show their "smart" people that under their leadership they can have some real R&D projects keep running for decades.

how they call Arjun? The world's longest tested tank.
