Otokar Tulpar and Cobra Official Video

Tulparin Video bok gibi ,Cobra Video´su hic olmamis. Müzik batirmis herseyi -.-

Kusura bakma ya sonrakine daha güzel reklam yaparlar.Kulağını çekerim ben onların.

Both have great editing. I liked the epic music and the like.

The Tulpar vid was a little weak - our defense industry is our national pride, and I would have loved to see that thing wrecking through some ****! Not going over speed bumps and doing spin-a-rooney's for a minute and a half.

Cobra vid was better, but again if they could have showed it blowing up some stuff it would have hit the spot.

Well done otherwise!

-Tulpar's tranmission, suspension systems will be domestic.
-Ural's chassis and driving subsystems are fully Otokar designed.
-Otokar is going to integrate 105mm MKE's turret on domestic chassis for export markets...

We should stop doing what others already did :smart: Go ambitious, make a twin-120mm mortar turret. Better yet, a twin-90mm smoothbore gunned auto-loading turret. Should have impressive firing rate.

It's a 30-tonnes IFV for fvck's sake, it can support heavier payload

Korkut need´s an Pence Turret and 2 or 4 Guided Rocket Launcher for Umtas or Stinger like from Atilgan KMS.

Tulpar will be too Heavy.

It's not fair to compare Korkut - a derivate of the tracked APC (a la aluminium box) from the '60s that bears the designation "M113" - with Tulpar - a highly computerized and modern IFV with modular composite armor.

Tulpar is not amphibious ! I don´t make an Compare here and if you think that Korkut is only an Aluminium Box then i have nothing to say.

Judging by the picture Cabatli_53 posted, I believe that Otokar are working on or at least have thought of an amphibious variant of the Tulpar IFV. And the reason I thought you compared Tulpar with Korkut was because you said;
"Tulpar will be too Heavy."
(too heavy for what, btw?) whilst mentioning different types of weapon configurations of Korkut, as if you were to imply that Korkut was superior to Tulpar in general characteristics.

As for the armor of Korkut;
The FNSS Korkut is a derivative of the FNSS ACV-300 which is a derivative of the FMC AIFV which in turn is based on the BAE M113. This mutation didn't take place over a day or night - the initial specie, the M113, entered service back in 1961. The design is thus over 50 years old. The armor in aluminium was intended to withstand small arms fire whilst being light enough to be transported by air and be somewhat amphibious. Not to mention the small width of the vehicle vs its height - it will probably shake more than a belly dancer whenever it fires its cannons.

- FNSS will not use ACV-30 ,they can join the Tender with Amtrac.

- it´s an ACV-S with more Protection.

FNSS & Aselsan has already gone for the ACV-30/ZMA-30, AFAIK. Besides, I think FNSS's AAV7-clone will loose its key characteristic (being able to float) if they went on putting a huge dual-cannon turret on it. I don't know brother. A little comparison with other SPAAGs:

9K22 Tunguska
Weight: 34,000 kg
Length: 7.93 m
Width: 3.24 m
Height: 4.01 m
Armor: N/A
AAG: 2 × 30 mm 2A38M auto-cannons
Based on a heavy-duty chassis also used by S-300VM and other heavy systems of similar nature

Luftvärnskanonvagn (LvKv) 90
Weight: 23,000-35,000 kg (Mk0 to MkIII)
Length: 6.55 m
Width: 3.1 m
Height: 2.7 m
Armor: protected against 30 mm APFSDS
AAG: 40mm Bofors auto-cannon, 30mm Bushmaster cannon (MkI & MkII export model) or 35mm/50 Bushmaster Cannon (MkIII export model)

K263
Weight: 11,975 kg
Length: 5.49 m
Width: 2.85 m
Height: 2.52 m
Armor: same as M113, ACV-300, ACV-S, AIFV - aluminium...
AAG: 1 x 20mm gatling gun
Chassis based on AIFV which in turn is based on the chassis of M113.

Flakpanzer Gepard
Weight 46,700 kg
Length: 7.68 m
Width: 3.71 m
Height: 3.29 m
Armor: conventional steel
AAG: 2x 35 mm auto-cannons

Now, correct me if I have missed any significant detail, but we plan to mount a pair of 2 x 35 mm auto-cannons on a chassis derivative that initially was armed with a M2 machine gun and meant to move ground troops from one point to another, meanwhile protecting them from small arms fire.

The Korean K263 is based on their K200 IFV which is similar, if not equal, to our ACV-300. Both are based on the AIFV which basically is a M113 hooked on serum. However, the Koreans have limited themselves to arm it with a single 20 mm gatling gun.

The Swedes have proceeded with their LvKv-90(40) based on the CV-90 IFV which is in pair with our Tulpar IFV. Yet, they have chosen to equip it with a single 30, 35 or 40 mm auto-cannon. Again, just to remind ourselves - we plan to equip ours with 2 x 35 mm auto-cannons.

If we look at another SPAAG that carries an armament of similar caliber and quantity as we plan to do, we can compare our project with the Tunguska which carries 2 x 30 mm auto-cannons - but also weighs roughly 6 metric tons more than Korkut and size-wise covers a greater area on the ground.

The best match when it comes to armament is of course the Gepard SPAAG, carrying 2 x 35 mm auto-cannons as we plan to do, yet it is based on the Leopard 1 tank's chassis - weighting 18,000 kg more and also holds a slightly lower profile.

Sorry for my skepticism, I usually don't question our industries' projects this much but I really doubt that Korkut will be able to fulfill its role :/

Not to self: I should probably cut back on the caffeine...

.
Korkut was not for an Role like for SPAAG.

For these Role we have AA Rockets or maybe in Future an Tulpar Version like a Tunguska with AA Rockets & 30/35/40mm Guns.

Korkut should this :

But I believe in FNSS to Develope their own unique Designs in the Future !

The Last what i see from them like the AV-8 or Kaplan or the Future Projects are showing that us.

Tulpar model and Tulpar IFV are different.

Tulpar is a base model for armored fighting vechiles that it can be configurated into AAV, IFV, AIFV, AAFV, Recovery, Auto-Loader, Engineering, Mobile-Radar, MLRS Carrier...etc. It's just a base model. It probably has an amphibious variant.
