The modernisation package encapsulates the integration of a modern diesel engine which will have increase fuel efficiency and power, new Transmission and transfer box. Aswell as modernisation to critical parts, factory level maintenance will be administered which will increase service life for another 20 years. Further options to add winch, remote weapon station and Night Vision system is available on request of the Government.
It is also important to note that Otokar has ended the production of the Otokar Akrep, as Otokar Cobra and Otokar ZPT orders have increased and Otokar Akrep is seen as a non-viable option for export anymore.
