There are three radar stations on the mountains,guarding turbela dam in the west and army installations in the city of abbottabad. Unless it was f22 raptor its impossible that pakistan didt notice choppers flying towards the area.

Well in NDTV it said, that two helis with possibly SEALS on it from afghanistan took out the operation!! Man the US are best at this.....awesome!!
Anyways the covert operations inside pak territory yielded some positive results.

This is one place.. where one would least expect to find OBL..
that is what his lieutenants thought..

also.. look at abbotabad on the map..
and how it is connected.
Srinagar isnt very far from muzzafarabad..
but how long is the traveling time to get there??
It takes longer to get to abbotabad.. than to get to Peshawar which is further out.

Thats what I'm saying, saying its just 50km from Islamabad is technically correct, but on the ground the terrain you have to take to it is more like 200 km. You have to go around mountains. Ayub Khan wanted to build a road through a mountain once, but hasb-e-rawayat that project is still on hold.
