Very Clever move by Establishment. First Courts declare many PMLN major Player deseated due to Rigging Charges then Establishment step in and started arresting PPP like Catching Fish from a pond. Looks like they have got the opening they needed and now Establishment are acting but what would happened if PMLN able to retain their seat after By elections????

In this scenario the only way they possibly have is Fast Passed and Aggressive Operation against PPP so that their members are Busted before PMLN back to driving seat otherwise this would be an Opportunity lost for them as PTI cant be Trusted to Contain PMLN for longer.

Then add them too in the Topi drama sentence, i am not believing it unless i see it actually happen and get taken to the end.
There's many a slip twixt the cup and the lip!
Our politicians and the judicial system just stink, army or no army.
Let it happen and let it CONCLUDE before we start celebrating!

KARACHI: An antiterrorism court (ATC) on Thursday remanded Dr Asim for 90 days to Rangers custody.

The former federal minister was presented in ATC-III by the Rangers today who informed the court that Dr Asim has been placed under a 90-day preventive detention under Section 11-EEEE of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

Court sources told Dawn that the Rangers contended that they have credible information regarding Dr Asim's involvement in terrorism related activities as well as embezzlement of funds.

Therefore, ATC-III placed Dr Asim under a 90-day remand to Rangers custody for further inquiry.

Dr Asim Hussain's arrest challenged in SHC
A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court on Thursday challenging the arrest of Dr Asim Hussain, a former federal minister and the chairman of the provincial Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The petition was filed by Dr Asim's mother and Advocate Maulvi Iqbal Haider who contended that the former federal minister was an esteemed politician and his detention was unlawful as he did not have a criminal record.

Dr Asim's arrest came in what has been described as the first major action against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership during the ongoing Karachi operation. A close aide to former president Asif Ali Zardari, he was taken into custody on Wednesday.

The petitioners have asked that the court order for Dr Asim to be released. The federal and Sindh governments, the National Acountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have been made party in the petition.

Meanwhile, Dr Zareen, Dr Asim's wife, wrote a letter to Inspector General Sindh that her husband suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure and relies on medication. She asked for permission to be allowed to meet Dr Asim in order to monitor his condition.

No anti-corruption agency or even police have confirmed his arrest, but sources said he was taken into custody when he was in a meeting held at the Sindh HEC’s Clifton office on the appointment of a new vice-chancellor of the Dow University of Health Sciences.

Over a dozen men in plain-clothes belonging to the Federal Investigation Agency and an intelligence outfit arrived at the HEC office at around noon Wednesday and the man leading them introduced himself to Dr Asim and asked him to accompany them. Dr Asim was then taken to an undisclosed location for questioning.

Sources said that before the team arrived at the HEC office, the building had been surrounded by Rangers to ward off any potential resistance by Dr Asim's armed guards.

The NAB has denied having anything to do with Dr Asim's detention.

According to sources, Dr Asim was being grilled for his alleged involvement in illegal occupation of government land in North Nazimabad and Clifton for the extension of his Dr Ziauddin Hospital.

Besides, they said, Dr Asim was also being questioned for allegedly misusing authority when he was petroleum minister/adviser during the PPP government at the centre after the 2008 general election.

In 2009, he was elected Senator from Sindh on a PPP ticket. He served as the minister of petroleum and natural resources and then the prime minister’s adviser with the same portfolio until 2012.

After the 2013 general elections, the PPP government in Sindh made him chairman of the provincial HEC.

He is also believed to be close to the top leadership of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

Corruption, friendly alliance and support for many fractions in Dubai that directly link to the RAW. Which resulted in Altaf and other politicians get money oversees and get involved with anti-Pakistani activities, specially, in destroying large economically important projects for Pakistan, and people like Altaf, creating militia wings to spread terrorism inside Sindh.
Pakistan has two problems:

(1): Direct issue with extremist Islamists like the Talibans and all historically. But, majority of which are NOW supported by India to conduct terrorism inside Pakistan

(2) Economic terrorism that Zardari and his buddies did (and some military generals were also held responsible, just a few weeks ago), where large, national security related economic projects were destroyed, ignored or never worked on, but billions were spent in corruption, resulting in no work getting done and Pakistan almost went bankrupt in 2012. Which then could've resulted in destruction of the economy and a highly likely civil war which would've broke the country. Majority of these plans were made in a nice location near Jueirah beech, Dubai with an Indian flag inside every office!!!

These sellouts need to be put in Jail by the Pakistani government and every penny should be recovered. Zardari is a history and he'll never been in power again. Combine Zardari, Kiyani and a few of his buddies did more corruption than the rest of the government in Pakistan in that point in time. Similarly, RAW sponsored MQM murdered more people in cold blood compared to fatalities caused by terrorism all together. These barbaric terrorists deserve capital punishment!!!

By the way, there is a lot more coming. NS needs a CLEAN and stable Pakistan to bring in more investments. But global investors keep saying that Pakistan is in a turmoil and its unsafe with these thugs, mafia's and all still hanging out. So the agreement internally is, the entire Pakistan will be cleaned up from this mess once and for all. So that the country can economically grow to its potential. The system will continue to clean itself as things progress. This is the beauty of a strong system. But Pakistani system is still relatively young but has shown a lot of good progress already.

These guys are more corrupt than imagination. Get the money back and put them behind the bars for decades.

ALHAMDULILLAH PPP has always been the only party hated by yazeedi establishment.

In ki jamhuriat kay liay bauhaut qurbaniyan hain, is liay in ko chor dia jaye.

Just like how Dr Asim is an 'esteemed' politician, so he should be released.

Forget Yazeed. Even You wont have the Shifaat of Ahlul bayt and Allah Ki lantay hai tmhari party par because

Ma`qil ibn Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet that Paradise is forbidden for any person in authority who dies in such a state that he is dishonest in his dealings with those under his rule. (Authenticated by Al-Albani)

Abu Humaid ibn Sa`d As-Sa`idi (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Prophet employed a man from the tribe of Al-Azd named Ibn Al-Lutabiyyahh to collect the Zakah. When he returned (to the Prophet with the collections), he said: "This is for you while this (other wealth) is a gift presented to me. (So, it is mine)."

So, the Messenger of Allah stood on the pulpit, praised Allah, extolled Him and then he said,

"Why does an official whom I send (in a mission) say: 'This is for you and this has been presented to me as gift'?

Why did he not stay in the house of his father and mother to see whether gifts will be given to him or not?

By (Allah) in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, if any one of you takes anything (wrongfully,) he will bring it on the Day of Resurrection, carrying it on his neck…"

Then he raised his hands till we could see the whiteness of his armpits and repeated twice, "O Allah! Have I conveyed (Your Commandments)?" (Muslim)
