Orange Media says: 'Pak racing to become No 1 corrupt country'

I know it orange media, but I think there is some truth at least on the part of corruption as many of the members keep on pointing that corruption is getting bigger and bigger under the present administration. It's time for you guys to act and choose a responsible government for you!

ISLAMABAD: Corruption in Pakistan has attained new heights in 2010, as the country, under the administration of Zardari-Gilani duo, is said to have surpassed several other badly corrupt nations ranked above it in 2009.

A serious charge sheet of corruption against Pakistan is all set to be released by the Transparency International on October 26, The News reported.

"You will soon be hearing really bad news about Pakistan," warned a source, disclosing that as against the last year when the nation had slipped five ranks from the 47th most corrupt country in 2008 to 42nd, the 2010 scenario was much worse.

Sources said, Pakistan`s downslide amongst the most corrupt nations was deeply depressing. "It seems thecountry (Pakistan) is fast racing to become number one on the list of the most corrupt nations," a source opined.

If the elections in 2013 are fair and transparent, then no doubt PPP and PML-N will suffer a landslide loss. These two parties are the cream of the crop when it comes to corruption.

Though I don't support military regime (personal opinion), I feel that Pakistan has done wonders under Musharaf. He also did his mistakes but still during that time Pakistan economy was doing good and if I can recall ... I think it was growing at a rate of 5-6%

Pakistan has a lot of potential. I think the war on terror is taking a toll on its economy and people.

Economy was in much better shape. 5-9% growth rate, FDI was going up (peak of 8 billion), stock went way up, etc.

If only at least the Prime Minister or President weren't corrupt themselves. If they turn things around, and make Pakistan better I can guarantee people will be willing to forgive Zardari. Otherwise as soon as that guy steps down its to the gallows for him. If he tries to escape INTERPOL won't be so nice.

Well KESC has resorted to 8 hours daily loadshedding in Karachi... Zardari got shares in KESC as well. Hell, only a natural catastrophe killing all these top cream bastards would be an ideal way out for Pakistan... with CJ stepping in with the backing of the Army. I wish we had something like that HAARP thingy the Yanks have. **** Zardari, **** PPP and **** KESC.

Pakistan is a hopeless country.... sorry but get ready for the next azaab due around next Ramadan (may Allah have mercy on us before that one)
