It is important to have clarity of mind about one's origins and forefathers.

It is important that we Pakistanis teach right history to our kids.

  1. We are descendants of Seleucus NOT Chandragupta
  2. We are descendants of Muhammad ibn Qasim NOT Dahar
  3. We are descendants of Ghazni NOT Jaipal
  4. We are descendants of Ghuri NOT Prithvi Raj
  5. We are descendants of Babur NOT Rana Sanga
  6. We are descendants of Jinnah NOT Gandhi

So folks spread the word and teach the right history.

. . .
and are you descendent of nader shah as well?

considering ibrahim lodhi was the descendent of people who belonged to sultanate founded by M. ghauri himself, are you ditching one ancestor and adopting ''another''.

regards

This thread is not about me.

There's nothing wrong in accepting that Pakistan's roots (some/majority of it depending on the evidence) were pagan/hindu/buddhist or whatever you want to paint it like.

Not everyone was born into Islam....the Arabs were pagans like the Hindus and moved back to monotheism. Similarly, we, current day Pakistanis, accepted Islam and so have many Indian Muslims.

Remember, no Arab is superior to a non-Arab and vice versa. And no white is superior to a black and vice versa. :enjoy:

I'm suspicious of the motivations of the OP.

Ah! abandon your bloodline for those who have invaded and plundered your land? (Jinnah is probably the only local lad in the entire lot). Let's just reinforce the [false] narrative of Hindutva extremists that all Muslims in South Asia are children of invaders and must be expelled.

Just so you know, Bin Qasim is not known to have had descendants in Sindh/Pakistan (though his son was later appointed as a senior official). Dahir, on the other hand, had sons here. One of them converted to Islam at the hands of Khalifa Umar Bin Abdul Aziz. Probabilities of Dahir still having descendants in Sindh/Pakistan - or in Bharat - are significantly high.

Agreed.

We need to take our heads out of the Pakistan Studies school textbooks.

Oxford based books only tell Pakistani students that their ancestors were Pagans....which leads them to either accept conquerors as their ancestors, it can be true but not for the majority of us....or it leads them to deny the IVC and/or skip over it.

What such books fail to mention is the gap between monotheism and polytheism. :D

The further anyone looks back into history, and IVC is one evidence of it, the less polytheistic societies were. Which only leads to one conclusion....but I'll leave that up in the air since we'll be delving into the religious domain, which unfortunately isn't allowed on PDF due to inherent lack of understanding of what the religion can do for humanity and the trolls that go ape shit whenever religion is brought up. :enjoy:

.
I always knew Pakistan is an Arab + Europian country and have nothing to do with Ganguized kalia people of IVC. It's just that these Arabs and Europeans dont accept it for some reason. That's the freaking problem.

How do we get these countries to accept this scientific fact ?

Either way they definitely are not a gangu nation full of gangus with little weiners...........:

Your claim about the IVC are unfound. The Aryan migration also had an effect on the population.....don't forget that.

Pakistan of today is the result of movements of different ideas, religions and people across time. No single dynasty, empire, people or race can describe modern day Pakistan.

The diversity of Pakistan is very high if you look at the landmass. Per square kilometer, it's more diverse than the US and the US is the most diverse nation in the world imo.

And because Pakistan is close to the Asian Heartlands and it's proximity to Africa, the genetic makeup is diverse also.
