Opinion: Providing Firepower to Palestinian Resistance

They very people who talk about saving Palestine today sold Palestine before Pakistan's birth in 1947.

Better focus on own nation.

If these people can sleep after selling Palestine for cash and now for political mileage . Pakistan can also sleep soundly and focus on own nation.

Very red sattu, perhaps? :D

Let us see how Pakistan serves its national interests in this situation. My guess is by lots of words and not much else.

You never know which Pakistan turns up. What you might consider irrational, is rational by many. How many knew that Sarajevo, in the heart of Europe, was defended through timely and critical supplies arriving from Pakistan.

And how many know what convinced Pakistan to send those supplies? Who knows what Pakistan might do here, but my guess is likely correct.

I can and will gladly know he will understand. Because he knows when Hudaybia was needed and when muslims were actually in strength both in numbers , armament and character. The current 1 billion are just that, a number best suited to killing or threatening each other and nothing more.

One wonders where even these weapons will arrive? Lebanon is in tatters - Egypt and Jordan have no interest in conflict, Iraq is still monitored by US military and Syria is a Russian Vassal now.

Unfortunately, all these emotionally charged Pakistanis are going to let their hot air out or vent their frustration on fellow Pakistanis either through verbal or worse physical abuse and destruction of their own Pakistani property.

I forgot to mention how Pakistan helped Jordan put down the PLO in the 1960s. This has not been forgotten by many Palestinians. It's also why so many continue to support India, which supported the Palestinian cause until it recognized Israel.

Is this gent beyond putting his own spin on it, is the real question.

What's your reason to doubt the ex ISI cheif, under whom the whole operation was executed? He has given the reasons as clear as he can be. And if you think about it, those exact same reason can be applied here, in this scenarios as well.

Let me be kind and just say that he is no paragon of truth telling. At all.

Let me tell you one thing. He reached that position of extreme power not just because of his abilities but also because state trusted him and bestowed such responsibilities on his shoulder. Just reflect on this with open mind, think who you are , what you have achieved and what your utterance are worth against these facts. Enough said.

And there are more powerful people with higher positions of trust all around too. He comes far lower on the totem pole than you might believe. Part of ISI's job is to maintain the faith of the nation in thier capabilities, even when the reality is very different. Stories like this, and who rescued Kaaba are driven by such considerations. Pakistan defeated Russia in Afghanistan? Sure. Pakistan defeated USA in Afghanistan? Sure. Which heroes stopped the Bosnian massacre? Of course!

In the dominion of Islamic republic of Pakistan, No, he did occupy the position of extraordinary power at his disposal. Rest of the entities outside the realm of Pakistan do not matter, and if they are such powerful or any better to begin with, irrelevant matters. So when such person is making an statement on record, you must pay heed, listen carefully, analyse what was said, for your own benefit..
