Sir shows we need more "chatrool"
If PMLN has 1 in 5 support that means chatrool isn't completed yet.

Hopefully after IMF deal chatrool will continue

Last time govt bankrupted in 1998 we continued zero growth for three years and only started to grow in 2004 after 9/11 Paris agreement of rescheduling of 30b of debt.
That rescheduling helped Pakistan to start growing again around 2003-04.

General elections, you'd be surprised.

PDM has a lot more support in Punjab and a few factors relating to poor election arrangements by PTI and PTI voter turnout.

I am still convinced Pakistanis are a foolish bunch and no way PTI will get a simple majority.

PTI would need 2/3 majority to do any meaningful changes with respect to judiciary and devolution of power especially to settle Karachi issues

Best case scenario is PTI won half seats in Punjab.
Still not enough as it will loose seats in Karachi to TLP or JI

Agree.. establishment wants to take it slow..it first going to slowly build a narrative and disqualify IK or kill him off and simulatenoualy stabilize the economy with IMF. From what I am hearing it's Shahbaz sharif for next 5years.
