Opinion - Impact of Russia losing out to Ukraine

.
Ukrainian leadership has been embolden by the lack of professionalism displayed by the Russian military thus far.

Russian military's performance has been very under whelming to put it lightly.
like @jhungary stated earlier I don't think the Russian military wants to fight.
This may all be part of an elaborate power struggle in Moscow.

Russia controls much of the airspace, airports, highways in Ukraine. So shipments of weapons coming into Ukraine can easily be intercepted by Russia.
Bayraktars wreaking havoc on their columns though. If they can't take care of a loitering drone might as well pack up and go home.

See my post on page 2, Russia is using only 1/3 of its invasion force. They are wearing down the Ukranian defense, it's only a matter of time they defeat Ukraine militarily and then capture members of its government and put them on trial unless negotiations can be made (not my words but from Putin). Which means Russia accomplishes its objectives of pacifying Ukraine.

They've already secured Donbass provinces, where a big part of Ukranian oil fields are. They've also destroyed the Dam Ukraine built that cut off water to Crimea.

I am surprised that Russian Military did not learn anything from their war loses in Afghanistan (Stringer missiles) and Azerbaijan (Bayraktar TB2 drones).

It is surprising to see Russian's military fail so badly. This will erode Russia's image as a major power.

I don't think many professional armies held the post Soviet Russian military in high regard. And yet, I don't think anyone expected poor battlefield management particularly since the Russians had the initiative and had months to plan, coordinate and execute.

I don't think Russian military had any plan. This seems more like an emotional and desperate act of Russian military based on last minute decision made by Putin.

It's all about doctrine. Old habits die hard.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Russia is going to be a great example of this.

Things will be clear in a week or two. Too early to say anything.

It is already very apparent that Russia is looking for a face saver to withdraw.

Modi's India has already sold their soul to the West.

Ukrainian MP Inna Sovsun says Russia is losing the War

Sir please let me know at what point does the lady said anything about India. Our relations with Ukraine are not that good or bad but we find the invasion wrong. Modi or No Modi result would have been same. I am really feeling sorry for our Russie brothers, they got trapped in the shit created by western powers. Where is the world economic power and not taking action for their first and foremost ally.

Russia was not prepared at all. They thought it will be a walk in the park. They miscalculated everything. On top of that they have been exposed to the world. It is a downfall of Russia.

I am afraid Russia will eventually prevail militarily.
There is a lot of misinformation going on but Russia already has carved out huge chunks out of Ukraine
There will be a back and forth but in the end Russia will come out on top with a possible LoC somewhere in the middle of Ukraine

At this point Russians will be lucky to even to get Donbas. Forget about Russians getting any other parts of the Ukraine.

Its foolish to trust wartime propaganda
They are surrounded and slowly Russia will bleed them out to achieve some sort of strategic victory
