Saddam and his comrades made themselves into a constant threat to the region and the stability of the world-economy, the Iraqi people suffered because of this.

So yeah, while he was a teamplayer on the global stage, we supported Saddam,
and when he became a threat to the global stage (upsetting the petro dollar global arrangement *was* that, and still is to a large extent, much like the OPEC threat of the 1970s was real and severe),
especially when he chose to ignore sanctions and let his people starve,
we had no choice but to remove him.

Libya : same thing. re-introducing a gold-based economy? just not tolerable in today's world.
Gaddafi wanted to seem like the big strong dude standing up to the US, and he got zapped for it. By the people he held down in much the same way Saddam dealt with political ambitions of countrymen that weren't 'yes-men' (people who never ever criticize the leader of the country); violently.

And there are other things in the world that we in the West can not and will not tolerate, a nuclear-armed Iran and/or North-Korea, for instance. Give in too much, especially to some "need for military balance", and you end up in war. Because what is the reason to go to war? Fear and hate. *BOTH* being the driving forces for nuclear weapons ambitions of nations like Iran and North-Korea, and also for stupid moves that upset the world-economy (which is just as bad as rolling lots of tanks into another country), thinking the real motives will stay hidden if they are masked by lies and half-truths.

And this is all far from stupid logic, people.
If you can't see that, then you're lying or just not very smart yourselves.

And for those who truly don't understand yet how to stand up to the white man effectively,

i'm most willing to explain it.

it boils down to this : patient decades long negotiations and public discussions (more than satire or sarcasm - that's warmongering), *instead* of centuries-long wars. we've been through this before you know.. too many people died and suffered in the first Crusades.
and i'm not kidding this war on terror has the potential to become the age of the 2nd Crusades.
except this time it won't be armies moving back and forth over continents, it'll be more chaotic due to the infrastructure of roads and airtraffic now available.

one side has to be vastly stronger than the other side, and the stronger side should respect the "weaker" side. i say "weaker" because you'd only be weaker in military terms, by your own choice hopefully, and never be addressed as weaker in other aspects of life.

in practical terms : you fight with video cameras *instead* of with weapons (*NOT* both!).

There's nothing wrong with peaceful evangalism by any religion.

economy is booming, Afghanistan is producing million of tones of opium, infact its the no. 1 producer of it ....95% of the world...this has led to booming economy world wide..half of hospital are kept aflot due to overdoses(over 100,000 in Europe, and 1 million in USA), every one is getting their profit share, smugglers, politicians, war has kept military industry afloat, hell even coffin makers of happy, afghan like Muslims and pushtoon use to burry their dead without coffins but now there are no bodies any more(BBC report)..so coffins it is

politics is good, instead of ruthless single extremist govt, now we have warlords that even worse and have no law what so ever to follow, afgahns nowpay both the govt and taliban the taxation, rural afaghnistan i sbomb every day and hospitals are bombed both by NATO(Doctors without boarder) and extremist alike

imports are good as well, Desh is newest import, no body even knew it exist now its booming

overall Afghanistan is doing great, rich are getting richer, poor are dying and every one is happy, if things go south, the elite will pack up and live in Europe with billions they looted(over 200 billion dollars in Aid, a trillion in war) they earned and US will pack up and find another war, we still have libya, north korea, mali and ofcourse all Africa..who knows communism might get back in Cambodia and Vietnam...wait it never left Vietnam but we are friends today..who knows taliban will be next...who cares about millions of rich farmers who die and care more about food(like the 1 billion people dying of hunger) than demcorasy
