You are wrong.

a. The usual condition that the applicant must be a Bangladeshi has been erased.
b. For recruitment there is a district-wise quota. A number is mentioned against each district. This item is also missing.

In terms of pharmaceutical products, I think local brands are more popular because of their low price and world class quality. The local brands meet up to 95% of the domestic demand for pharmaceutical products.

Indians have no clue how big the Bangladesh Pharma sector is compared to the size of our country. Our labor costs are half of whatever they pay in India and quality is wayyy better (almost all Pharma companies have FDA, GMP and ISO certs). It is a large part of our export portfolio. In fact we have exported to most of India's traditional markets and beating them at their own game.

We should continue raising our game against India in Pharma exports but the first thing is to stop using their products in our own market - a boycott.

The boycott should happen because Indian govt. uses unfair non-tariff barriers (countervailing and falsified 'dumping' duties etc.) to limit almost all Bangladesh exports to their country (to protect their inefficient industrial majors) which has to stop. The few exceptions promised are all lip-service so far, even those made by Modi.

Combination drugs are banned in Bangladesh which most Indian phrama produces for their local consumption. BD doctors dont prescribe combination drugs either.
Except 12 govt regulated generic drugs BD drugs are not cheap either.

I have exactly opposite experience wrt Indian pharma product, people actually believe its better(in bd) even if they are just different brand name. None of the Indian brands hide behind bd entity and can be boycotted easily.

it has as much to do with labour cost as to do with tariff free access. of course you got bigger pharma industry than country size as its export oriented just like RMG sector(taking advantage of ldc status). The export figures are not big enough to suggest bd companies have 'beaten' Indian cos.
you can actually tell retailers not to stock Indian brands.. that will be much more effective boycott.

Medicines are mainly purchased following the doctors' prescriptions and they usually prescribe the local brands. Even without prescriptions, people usually buy the local brands, perhaps because of their long history. I don't remember when was the last time I bought a foreign brand medicine from a store here at Chittagong.

Says its a govt (of India) job portal. No head will roll. Neither BAL nor SHW run BD. The country is run by RAW operatives posted in IHC, Dhaka. They are aided by groups in Dhaka and Delhi belonging to the media, cultural arena, politics and even bureaucracy. SHW has been given a total clearance to kill, kidnap, and steal whatever she likes and leave running of the govt to RAW.

Yeah give him more reasons to cook up his conspiracy theories. He knows all this because he is Susanta Saha or Raisuddin himself. Says a lot why these raw operatives couldnt succeed as they do their operations openly like this and patriotic Jamaati brigades are always the first one to spot.
