read this..
just a single warning shell can kill 23 cadets of rebel force.. do u know the fact behind this news..? this is just D-30 122mm shell.. which have just 15km range.. so just think of.. even we can fire with D-30 122mm.. infantry will be based less than 8 km away from the rebel headquarter which their back is China-Myanmar border line.. plus our UAV is sniping them all the time.. and we have also registered all the targets of theirs..

so tell me we are winning or losing..? couldnt have ability to crash them..? lol we just didn't want to.. dude.. :D

http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0J404020141120 this is from reutor news..

Man I remember going for the ADJ magazine first thing when I would go to the local library in Singapore....good times. Takes me back. I can even remember the odd airconditioned smell of that place when I see "ADJ".

It was that magazine that I first followed such projects like Su-30 MKI, Brahmos, Pinaka and others.

Are they covering Myanmar more these days? Before they did not so much other than in their annual review of Asian countries ORBAT.

In reality,Myanmar will be part of Future Bengal Empire hehe

What is with you guys and expansionism? Too many people in your room right now? :P

.
lol do u know what is that..!? that's ukrainian made 3D 36D6 M rader which is currently used in Vietnam Army's S-300 PMU1.. that rader is found in Myanmar.. that's why just asking evidence to S-300PMU1.. did i claim that we have S-300..? it's very closer than just taking photo before wish list AD in somewhere of exhabition.. lol
the one u showed is that rader system found on Yangon Road...
here is currently operating in Myanmar Army..

View attachment 319278
here is the link of S-300 PMU1 in Vietnam.. they used exactly the same rader system of Myanmar army..

http://asian-defence-news.blogspot.com/2014/03/ukrainian-made-3d-radar-36d6-m-for-s.html?m=1

WTF is a vietnamese radar doing in Myanmar?

u cant show coz u still dont have in ur hand.. :P
also LY-80 E..? lol show me what u have.. or show me any creditable link.. or remove ur show off list.. coz it will not be counted here.. :P

LY-80E will be delivered by 2020 or sooner,dammit...

that were many fake pages like Myanmar army , myanmar navy and Myanmar air force which has very low likes compared to real one..totally useless.. the real page is over 20k like.. there is no that page in FB now.. coz we reported it.. making fake one and talking about non-sense all the time.. :D

I agree about the navy FB post...BrahMos is impossible for MM...
But Burma Times acknowledged it as the official FB page of MM Air Force..bruh...

what..!? Pechora 2M..? u may be wro

Final stage of negotiations underway for Pechora 2M...

They'll never churn out thousands of tanks like the Soviet Union did but reaching the level of someone like Israel will be very impressive.

Never consider Israel its a country...its just a ragged terrorist organization which the West is heavily funding to keep it alive....You can describe it as a dagger..The blade is on Arab land, while the handle is on Western land...

I never laughed at the idea of BD getting subs because a lot of credible sources indicate that you have indeed bought a couple of subs. But they have not been delivered. You don't even know how operational they will be. Your Banghabandu sat unused for years because you didn't have the resources or expertise to operate it, remember?

Our Ming class submarines are mainly for training purposes, and negotiations for 2-4 kilo class submarines are underway...

Well, its a different story of BNS Bangabandhu...A rather political one...
There are two major political parties of BD...One is AL,which worships the 1971 freedom fighters...and other is BNP-JeI,which is pro-Islamic and worships the arab warriors and famous muslim figures...
BNS Bangabandhu was procured during AL rule,so AL named her as BNS Bangabandhu ( Bangabandhu inspired us to fight 1971 war,and is father of nation, and the founder/leader of AL so they named him as that )
During BNP-JeI rule, they didn't like the BNS Bangabandhu as the name represented AL...So they mothballed it untill renaming it as BNS Khalid Bin Walid or BNS Khalid for short ( he was a legendary arab leader and BNP worship them ) and when AL came to power in 2009,they again renamed it as BNS Bangabandhu and made it fully operational and upgrading it...

Even though BNP bitches mis-used the ship,I like the name BNS Khalid more than BNS Bangabandhu...

Remember when guys here said you were buying SA-17/BUK? Or that you were close to buying Su-30's?

Sa-17/BUK is being evaluated....
We WILL buy 32-48 Sukhoi Su-30s or Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-35s ( more chance of Su-30 mkk ) and it is officially confirmed by Ministry Of Defence...

What is with you guys and expansionism? Too many people in your room right now? :P

LoL,I dunno......but anyways,welcome back...Why were you banned earlier?

No idea specifically. Maybe something I said somewhere (I say a lot :P). I will add Kashmir to 1971 in the "approach with supreme caution" list of topics :P

We got to name two of our ships as BNS Mir Madan and BNS Mohonlal Because of their bravery in battle of plassey. #knowyourheroes

we dont have any picture of our ming subs either..but it is coming..our armed forces show "anirbaan" has alrdy shwed that a MRSAM system is being procured..
So.. Here we go... !!
BDshi members said They have 3 layered AD... here...!!!

We have HQ-16 ( LY-80e ) medium range self-propelled surface to air missile

We have Pechora 2M medium range stationary/mobile self propelled surface to air missile

and FM-90 short range air defence system ( SHORAD )

And thousands Anti-Air guns

And last line of defence is the tens of thousands of MANPADS...

there is no long range AD in BD..

LY80E ( HQ-16A ) of Bangladesh Armed Force... ( although they still dont have strong evidence ) Medium Range AD
The HQ16A (LY-80) missile can intercept an aerial flying target from an 15 m to 18 km of altitude, while its maximum interception range for combat aircraft is 40km, and between 3.5 km and 12 km for cruise missiles flying at an altitude of 50 meters at a speed of 300 meters/second.
The searching radar vehicle is equipped with solid-state S-band 3-D passive phased-array radar mounted on the top of a mast. When the target is detected, the searching radar vehicle performs automatic IFF (Identification Friend-or-Foe), threat judgment, flight path processing and provide target engagement information for the tracking-and-guidance radar. The S-band radar has a range of 140 km and can detect targets flying at an altitude of 20 km.

according to its spec.., nice medium range AD..

I dont count Pechora 2M.. coz i dont find its single evidence in nowhere..

FM-90 (HQ-7) Short Range AD of BD armed force..
HQ-7 Specs
  • Missile dimensions: (length) 3.00 m; (diameter) 0.156 m; (wingspan) 0.55 m
  • Launch weight: 84.5 kg
  • Operating altitude: 30~5,000 m (HQ-7/FM-80); 15~6,000 m (FM-90)
  • Minimum operating range: 500 m (HQ-7/FM-80); 700 m (FM-90)
  • Max operating range: HQ-7/FM-80 {8,600 m (400 m/s target); 10,000 m (300 m/s target); 12,000 m (slow flying targets)}; FM-90: 15,000 m to all targets
  • Speed: Mach 2.3 (750 m/s)
  • Guidance: Command + electro-optical tracking
  • Warhead: HE-FRAG with proximity fuse
  • Radar detecting range: 18.4 km (HQ-7/FM-80); 25 km (FM-90)
  • Radar homing range: 17 km (HQ-7/FM-80); 20 km (FM-90)

and plus MANPADs.. any rader system for ..? what type of MANPAD do BD use..?

@bluesky @~Phoenix~
According to this.. BD just start for its 3 layered defense...currently operating one Short range AD and may be buying Medium Range...

Stay tune for Myanmar AD system... :D

Even though BNP bitches mis-used the ship,I like the name BNS Khalid more than BNS Bangabandhu...[/QUOTE]

The word Bangabandhu is difficult for foreigners to understand and spell. I would rather prefer BNS Mujib. It is his real name. The 2nd preference is BNS Khalid. Anyway, it was very bad for that BKZ to change every name here and there. She should have allowed the name BNS Bangabandhu as it was, and bought another frigate to name it as she liked.

The next time BNP comes to power, its only agenda would be to change the name plates of Dhaka airport and other military installation. Important national development works seem hysterical to and does not play well with the BKZ.

plus... Myanmar made MADV-2...

This culture of changing the names is an epic one and cannot be found outside Bangladesh! There is a residential hall in Dhaka University, which was previously known as "Bangabandhu Hall" but after coming to power, AL changed it to "Jatir Jonok Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall", literally...

SA-2's (S-75's) don't have a large operational range but have a very high operational ceiling. They brought down Gary Powers' U2 during the Cold War. I don't know if you know about that.

This is my favourite. It's short range but it looks badass.
