Op-ed: The World Must Curtail Indian State Sponsored Terror | PKKH.tv

Currently scrambling to save its face, India claims that the ‘reality’ of its position in Afghanistan is not being described accurately. India’s desperate and hopeless arguments against US Secretary Chuck Hagel’s recent revelations are lying open for the world to see. Pakistan has long claimed that India has been funding terrorism in Pakistan while operating from Afghanistan, but these arguments were not given due attention. Now, Pakistan’s claims are being revisited with greater attention, and Hagel’s statements send yet another major blow to Indian leaders.
Just last month, Indian Home Minister, SushilKumar Shinde, admitted that Saffron Terror groups of the RSS and BJP were responsible for various attacks on Indian soil, such as the Malagaon blasts, Makkah Masjid attacks and the Samjhauta Express carnage. After Hagel naming India as ‘financier of terrorism in Pakistan’, Indian authorities are even more frantic, but it is high time for the world to wake up to this real mischief maker in the South Asian region.
India has been recipient to global attention on many fronts, and its supposed role in developing Afghan infrastructure has been lauded. However, it’s quite uncertain how much it has really achieved in this regard when in fact it has been siphoning off billions for terrorism campaigns in Pakistan. In recent years, when the Pakistani military had carried out massive operations against the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) in the porous tribal belt, it was soon discovered that this group apparently had a totally different ideology to that of the Afghan Taliban. The TTP turned out to be mercenaries, fulfilling the goals of Pakistan’s eastern enemy. While operating against them, the Pakistani army found support-material and large caches of Indian-made weapons in their hideouts, thus, explaining why the war with this enemy within Pakistan had no end to it. While US-made weapons were also discovered during these operations, all fingers pointed towards those sitting in Afghanistan, as India had been suspected of dispatching consignment after consignment to the TTP.
Today, while India is being exposed for its clandestine evils, matters have gotten even more complicated; along with handling the TTP that has wreaked havoc across Pakistan, there are terror groups fueling sectarian violence, and they have achieved much success with mass killings of Shias en route to shrines through Baluchistan. The whole objective of the exercise is apparently to defame Pakistan and label it as intolerant towards Shias.
On the media front, naive liberals blame certain sects for Shia killings, which is a rather unfortunate tirade of ignorance that fuels more misunderstanding among the masses. However, one has to also understand that there has been a history of assassinations on the streets and within Imam Bargahs, such as those that took place during the mid-1990s in Karachi. Such spates of killings are recalled easily, thus, making it easy for one to point fingers at old enemies. While Lashkar-e-Jangvi (LeJ), akin to the notorious TTP, claims responsibility of various acts of terror, there matter in the forefront is far more complex. And let’s not forget the ullema and students on the opposite side of the shias who are being assassinated in Karachi – ‘genocide of Sunni ullema’ if you will. Regardless of who kills who, the fact is that daily assassinations on this scale are unprecedented, and were never a problem before India planted itself on our western border. While Pakistan has cried foul for years, no one bothered to consider the possibility of India as a financier of terror. However, there is now admittance from foreign officials regarding the evil doings of India, which will help to prove Pakistan’s point.
For years India blamed Pakistanis and Indian Muslims for terrorist attacks on its soil, but now the world has begun to see how home-grown Saffron Terror groups are carrying out false flags. Similarly, the same Indian state apparatus has been orchestrating attacks in Pakistan from Afghanistan, and now the world stands witness to these nefarious activities as well. And then there is the case of Kashmir where India has violated UN resolutions and continues its military campaign of mass murder and rape, making the region highly volatile. Due attention must be paid in order to rein-in Indian terrorism from all angles in the South Asian region before it is too late.
