The poor Chinese however worked so hard on the abandoned mines that they started turning it profitable, so they have to make a rule again to make it illegal for Chinese to own mines. The Chinese then turned to farming bananas, sugarcane etc which were confiscated later under some cooked-up rule.
Does it sound exactly like what is happening today? I don't think it's coincidence. If SHTF China should keep this injustice in mind.
