All's hunky dory.. and sweet honey here..
but.. really now.. Peace with India is a wonderful prospect..and truly the only way forward..
But I do believe Pakistan can survive without it..
What is needed though.. is a lot more engagement by the Indian side..
They have to get past the Islamists..the obsessive people.. then reach out to the people of Pakistan.
shabbir Ali in Jhang does not know of India's intentions..
and I cant go preach it to him..
It has to come on the private TV channels.. showing both the Indian government..and Indian people taking a peace initiative.. and you will see Shabbir respond double.. till then though..making contradictory statements .. with the Indian PM and army chief rarely on the same page..

In India the Army chief's only work is the defence of the country ; not disagreeing or dictating to the PM.

I dont how how you got that notion. Yes the Army chief is opposed to cutting down forces in JnK because with summer season approaching it is suicidal to cut down the forces as this is the main infiltrating season.
But that is strictly concerning the defence of the country and I am sure every Army Chief in every country does his bit.

All that the army cheif in India can do is coax, cajole, beg and plead to the civilians sitting in the parliament to not cut down the forces. But in Pakistan he can barge in and throw the Prime minister/ President and take over his position and if he wants he can exile/execute him.

That is the difference between Pakistan and India. So Santroji why don't you see why we are not worried about war happening anytime soon.

Did you actually read what the topic was about?...It was talking about how peace with India will help Pakistan combat extremism in it's soil. No one is talking about breaking up Pakistan other than you! And with your comprehensive skills I guess it is really hard to have any worth while conversation.

We were always told we did not get an independence from hindu india, and we should never allow the indians to hold and dominance over Pakistan through their lies. And last year i finally realised what my Dad was talking about. All the lies, and propoganda from indians. indians like to live in their deluded hindu nationalist world.

Many indians are obsessed about creation of Pakistan and even spread lies about event of 1947, but Pakistanis dont give damn for the creation of india.
