Xinjiang built a lot of highway in recently years connecting China with Pakistan and many central Asian countries. but many parts of the region is overwhelming inhabited by native herdsmen,they some times drive their herds onto the highway,and it becomes a routine job for the traffic police to get on the highway to direct traffic,haha

I mean some villages near Kashgar city at South of XingJiang, it's China's anti-terrorist battlefield. Recent years of XingJiang riots all happened at there.
