That's India.”

Anecdote from a couple hours ago today.. I was chit chatting with some Kashmiri traders earlier, siyasi mamlon pe baat chali.. khud bolay ki IA rations provide karti hain, help karti hai, JKLI join karna is very prestigious and so on..

None of which is to say that things are rosy, because they aren't (see examples above) , just not NEARLY as bad as some of you lot would either like to imagine, or have deluded yourself into believing that India is about to implode because religious-ethnic strife etc.

How is the situation improving when the situation in the rest of India is becoming more communal?

When their are clashes In Delhi and bulldozers in UP and police attacking Indian Muslims in Gujarat why would Kashmiri Muslims tolerate Hindus
