Sorry Sir...But how to move this thread...Wrong section, how is it related to defence?
Buy Indian, go for micromax
A friend of mine owns an One plus One.
Compared to the flagships from Samsung, Apple, etc, it's garbage.
But for the price, it's an amazing deal. I'm sure it'll take off in price sensitive India.
Micromax has a 6% profit margin, i.e 94% of what you're paying goes straight to China.
Do you prefer a stock android experience? Maybe that'll change once you come across MIUI V5, it is awesome, you'll love it.
Yes, I have it. I'd say go for it if you're planning to. The device feels premium, works like a charm and doesnt burn a hole in your pocket. So thats nice eh? But xiaomi has permanently suspended mi3's sale in India.
However, since April 2014, they have started manufacturing mobile phones and tablets at their facility in Rudrapur .
Permanently suspended ? Why ?
Assembling you mean?
Erm, I guess you'd feel safe if the same data was being sent to some US based servers?
Plot twist: It already is.
Trust me, its time to get rid off your prejudice against Chinese manufacturers. I have a Mi3 myself and I absolutely love it.
I wouldn't say it beats Xiaomi 'hands down'. Unless you were comparing it with Mi3, which is not supposed to compete with one plus one, but rather the likes of Moto G.
Mi4's more appropriate to compare this with.
