Almost half of the Palestinian population is under 18​

Official statistics from the Ministry of Information in Ramallah have revealed that 1,518 Palestinian children were killed by Israel's occupation forces from the outbreak of the second Intifada in September 2000 up to April 2013. That's the equivalent of one Palestinian child killed by Israel every 3 days for almost 13 years. The ministry added that the number of children injured by the Israelis since the start of the Second Intifada against Israel's occupation has now reached 6,000.

"The International Day for the Protection of Children is on June 1," said a spokesman, "but Palestinian children are still subject to attacks by the Israelis and Jewish settlers on an almost daily basis."

Noting that 2012 saw an unprecedented rise in the number of children arrested by Israeli forces, the report pointed out that 9,000 Palestinians under 18 years old have been arrested since the end of September 2000. Almost half of the Palestinian population is under 18. Almost two hundred and fifty Palestinian minors are being held in prison by Israel; 47 of them are children under 16 years of age.

The Zionists can keep killing civilian Palestinians but a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as the capital is inevitable.

Dozens of Palestinian civilians die each year. From small babies, pregnant women to schoolgirls. They never get this much publicity for reasons we are all aware of.

Even if it was Hamas then Israel has already killed 5 civilians as retaliation and destroyed infrastructure worth millions ones again.

There is nothing heroic about their conduct. Palestinians are one of the most oppressed people with a semi-state of their own. From a bigger and much stronger bully on all fronts.

People need to realize that Israel is in the stronger position and thus it takes more for them to make concessions. Many Zionists are not interested in that at all and continue building illegal settlements on Palestinian lands, are shunning every attempt of constructive talks etc. Of course you have those on the Palestinian side too but more Palestinians are eager for a two-state solution as many of them (especially in Gaza) are living in misery and want out of that.

Palestinians were historically always a peaceful people. Largely farmers, fishermen and traders living in a ancient region. Like many other Arabs in the Levant. Some of the lands were among the very first in the world to be cultivated. It was and still is a diverse society with Muslims, Christians, Arabs from across the Arab world and non-Arabs. Caucasians, Blacks etc.

This sad conflict has been going on for a long time (at least since 1948 if not before). So many wars have been fought by every major party in the region and beyond.

Perhaps exhaustion has set in for everyone

There is news now from my source that the Israeli Cabinet decided to launch a wider assault tonight against Gaza. Specifically they're saying some assassinations and attacks against our weapons storages apparently. At the same time they're saying they don't want to start a war.

This is unbelievable, so after taraweeh prayer there it's going to happen apparently.
