No, you are just confused without a reason. Nationalists, Islamists and citizens with other ideologies who just want to stay independent are united in defending the country and its borders. If Iranian muslims find more power in their religion than nationalism to defend the country, then good, no problem! They should be free to believe in the religion they like and I will not force them to accept other religion. You are making me confused. You hate the Islamic regime ,Islamic religion and the Arabs yet you are supporting the Islamic regime and what they doing in the region. You Iranian nationalists are weird you hate the regime but you supporting them when it come to their spread of influence and the revival of the so called Persian Empire.
It's not that simple, some policies of Islamic republic are PERFECT, some are bad. I like the following Arab speaking people (Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman).
I support Islamic republic because they defend the borders, they're independent, they started a defence industry to protect Iranian citizens, they are against international zionism/world jewry, they are against foreign forces in the region, they're for cooperation between regional countries.
If you consider these factors as "persian empire", then ok, I guess many countries in the world like persian empire scenario for their own countries.
