oh ! only if i had so much space in my front yard ....... i would have purchased the scrap and restored it cosmetically ! :devil:

if my sources are correct this wasn't exactly "retired due to long service",but was a new serviceable aircraft which was gradually cannibalized for spares!

This bird,i.e, the IAF MiG-27 TS 549 ,belonged to the No.22 Squadron 'swifts',and was once painted in a 3 tone desert paint scheme,which is rare in IAF.
