Though America has plenty of military bases in the Philippines, in fact they have a full "mutual defense treaty" with the Philippines.

But they did not stop us from seizing the Scarborough shoal in 2012. They preferred to abandon their mutual defense treaty.

Ukraine also made the same mistake of hoping for American military intervention to save Crimea, but America will sacrifice their lackeys without a second thought.

In fact it is better for them this way, since the losing party will be even more dependent on America than before. See the Ukraine and the Philippines now, they can't even put a single toe across the American line. They are totally dependent on American support, even if it is only free lip service.

India should allow US to base its signal intelligence monitoring stations along the Chinese border, base naval assets along Indian coast and offshore island and a few special forces along the borders. This would help secure the Indian border. But is India serious about securing its border?

Why would it? India is capable of defending the borders. Besides, the border problem is almost perpetual, and neither country doing anything to escalate. Whatever is happening has been happening for last 60 years with both troops going in and out of the perceived borders of both nations.

True. India probably had secretly allow US to station signal intelligence assets in India. The footprint is probably so small and the operation so secretive that the nosy Indian media had not been able to detect it. Also, US probably had hired Indians to perform naval tracking tasks for US navy.
