Yes Pakistani media covered the atrocities in Palestine in great detail while your country's women closed the border, stopped food supply and celebrated the bombardment. Israeli planes even used Egyptian airspace to bomb Palestinians.

The Pakistani state is at fault of course, but you can't ignore the fact that Zia Ul Haq, the guy who put Pakistan in the so called AfghanJihad was financially and politically supported by the US and most middle eastern states, particularly Saudi Arabia.

How can we combat terrorism when our politicians, like NS and our religious clergy, like the Lal Masjid etc are all supported and financially helped by Saudi Arabia. Even the Taliban which Pakistan supported were backed Saudi Arabia.

Why should we care what Arabs think? They are all ready dealing with their own problems. Any issues we have with Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar financing some sectarian organisations should be taken to their government. Our establishment needs to make it clear we don't want any funds going to extremist or sectarian organisation. At the end of the day the fault lies with us, why do we have to be sold out to some sheikhs? Lets make a better Pakistan. Stop this blame game. Most of the suicide bombers and terrorists are born and bred in Pakistan.

We need purging of extremists within our society. For this we need a strong leader ready to commit genocide of extremists. If only @Hyperion was a General. Lets pray for someone similar to @Hyperion takes over Pakistan and starts the hunt for terrorists and their funders.

Oh, I'm sorry if I just pointed out that the state has an obligation to protect its subjects from threats be they domestic or foreign and in return the subject will recognise the states authority.

Look it up. The Armed Forces sent 2000 tons worth of aid alone that was a quarter or all aid sent to Gaza from Egypt, so Six thousand tons. You can count the rest. Although this is completely irrelevant.

Ok let's go over this again. My first comment on this thread was directed at someone else who was talking about how there has been no meddling of arab countries in Pakistani affairs. To which you replied that my upbringing made me bias against the Saudis, to which I replied, in different words, that perhaps you feel the need to defend every action of Saudi Arabia just because you happened to be born there and your upbringing. So we are both bias because of our upbringing. Happy?

It's mind-blowing that Pakistanis of all people (who themselves are accused of harboring terrorists en masse (more than anywhere else on the planet), supporting terrorists etc.) are so short-sighted that they accuse all 500 million or so Arabs for largely self-made problems. Like the Arab world is not facing terrorism and has for a very long time.

Critciism of some unelected regimes and what they did 25 years ago (TOGETHER WITH PAKISTAN, US and other players), a tiny microscopic of private Arabs is legitimate but to blame the common Arab man is simply idiotic and hideous. I have no respect for such people and I could step down to their level and say that every Pakistani is a terror and Taliban loving clown. But I don't.

Once again I may state that Pakistan is a sovereign nation (you people here boost about how big a power it is compared to other Muslim states) and that YOUR people elected YOUR leaders.

Fact of the day;

People in most parts of the Arab world did not elect their regimes nor dictators thus they are not responsible for what they are doing.

Also no Arab asks any Pakistanis to care about Arab matters. If you complain about fellow compatriots caring about Palestine then tell them to stop doing so. We Arabs don't expect any flowers from any foreigners as foreigners (all of them) for the past 150 years or so (if not longer) have only given us misery.

We can't use words for anything either. It's actions that count.

No offense but you guys need to accept this reality and unless you do not Pakistan will remain as it is now. A land troubled with terrorism.

It's all in your hands. While Arab states recognize (by large) their own faults, shortcomings etc. (finally) and try to deal with them you are doing the exact opposite. At least the Pakistani users here on PDF.
