Hi,

So---this song is for those guys who love to be miserable---if have not heard it before----a treat for country lovers----

And then for a little excitement----I dug up this gold for you country lovers---and let me know if you don't like it---I will cancel my membership

MK, No matter la.

That lends that wee bit of uniqueness to this thread. And of course, thanks for starting this thread. Just as your posting Ron Goodwin on another thread brought back fond memories of my father's and family's music collection.

Hi,

Thank you----there was so much stress on the board lately---and I thought---got to do something different to release the pressure a little bit. We are all burning up----need something to cool down---with nothing but an oldie on the speakers and a cold one in the hand. What do you say to that---hein.

Probably one of the best psychedelic song there is. Comment posted on YouTube, "If the song doesn't make sense, smoke some serious w*ed, listen to the song again."

Across the Universe:

Words are flying out like
endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass
As they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
That call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they tumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
exciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe

Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva
Jai guru deva

Well said, MK! well said.
i understand that bit about the "stress" (been following those threads). Though i daresay that (sometimes) stress is largely self-induced. But that said, this thread is about music as a stress-buster, as a therapy, as un-contaminated pleasure.
"let it be". :toast_sign:

Hi Adios,

Summer wine-----in the early 70's---radio pakistan karachi had a half hour english music program----I think either 1:30 to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm 2:30---and this song---summer wine was on of the most requested favourites of that time. It is still one of my favourites. thanks.

Anyway---another favourites----
