Better do not be too prophetic about Afghanistan. Rather, USA/India axis may try to separate Baluchstan. This is because USA wants a free trade route for all the landlocked muslim countries in the central asia that formed a part of USSR. USA does not want to see this region depend upon Russia for its international trade, and India wants a direct trade route. If Pakistan does not allow this, USA/India may try to separate Baluchistan that has sea at its south. The trade route will be from central asia to the sea through Afghanistan and Baluchistan.

The present Pakistan govt and all other previous Pakistan govts have been feeding the separate movement in that Province. This is same as was with east Pakistan.
