Oil Prices have reduced dramatically since January ( even less than Jan 2019, and our current govt reduced 0.06 Rs / liter

Same goverment accused PMLN of corruption when fuel price was around 70-80 Rs / liter , and said it should be around 45-50 Rs / liter.

Petrol prices are unchanged. Government did not want to give heart attack to the citizens with huge relief.

Let us not forget that in a period of economic downturn when less Tax is coming from the industries because of the lowered profit; the gov't has no option but to raise revenue from increased indirect taxation. In this case, it is a heaven-sent opportunity for the GOP to collect more revenue by virtue of reduced cost by not passing on the benefits to the consumers. Less painful for the common man than raising the tax rate.

It would also benefit the oil marketing companies who have suffered badly when the Pak Rupee value nose-dived last year.

It's always the way - everywhere in the world, as soon as prices rise they go up at the pumps, but when they go down, they stay where they are. In the UK they usually reduce the price slowly, stating that they purchased the oil at a higher rate.

Honestly, you guys really need to educate yourselves a bit more on basic economics. Today in Sydney, we are paying A$1.30 per Litre. This is about Rs.135 per Litre. What are you guys complaining about? Price of petrol in the International market does not mean it is the DELIVERED Price or Retail price of the fuel. How do you guys expect that fuel to travel to the petrol stations? Do you think the fuel will start flying towards the petrol stations? So in other words, there is cost of transportation. Then there are government taxes, then there is Retail profit.

Price not reduced on base of last day of month but average price for the month is calculated. In January price fluctuated to 64 as well.

Don’t expect any relief in this governments tenure. because this government is too busy cleaning up the mess of the past 1400 years of Muslim ummah. Riyasat e madina bhi toh banani hai. Just like Zardari was cleaning musharafs mess, ganja was cleaning zardaris mess and now this new character is cleaning Nawaz mess lol. Trust me this mess is gonna be there by the end of IKs tenure as well. Only difference is hes gonna be asking for another tenure to clean up the remaining mess, which is going to be worse than it is now. So The name of the game here is power and how to keep it. I feel sorry for the jiyalas who are gonna be munching their words 3,5 years later.. the way Noraas are doing today.

But ofcourse you can never reason with a politically brainwashed person. So only few here will understand what I’m saying.
