Hello everyone on PDF.
Hmm, funny that I should do this now, when I have been on this forum for some 8 years now, and as an active member from May. But then again that might be due to my lack of manners.
It all began one lazy summer noon, when I, then a young (and naive) high school student, was researching (or trying to) something, what I for the love of God, cannot recollect now. This was the site I stumbled upon. Now, nearly 3000 days later, I realize that that event had a impact in shaping my personality.
This site (and a couple others) have taught me a lot. But the most important among them, I believe, is that I learnt of the possibility of an alternative opinion, the possibility of the existence of a counter narrative.
But then, Let me write up my introduction as per the official directive of the webmaster.
1) Tell your interests
Reading, and more reading. Then I guess researching, analyzing, predicting. Then would come the more normal of interests that a college student is expected to have
2) What do you do
College Student, final year. Engineering, Undergraduate.
3) What interests you here?
A lot, too many to state infact. But to give a short answer, I've always been interested in weapons, but not so much in their specs as in formulating strategies for optimal utilization of these weapons. So I guess operational planning would be my primary interest here.
Unfortunately some of the best posters of PDF are no longer active. Their debates were a delight to follow.
4) Future plans?
Good question. I wish I knew. Still trying to figure out my life after college. I have a few job offers, but as of now, my mind is still swaying between taking up a job, and going for higher studies.
Once again. Hello to everyone on PDF. It's been a long journey for me, following debates here. Arigatou
