Tbh democracy is not suitable for any of the South Asian countries. You need to have an educated population in order to implement democracy.

People living in South Asian countries are mostly uneducated and belongs to the lower middle and lower class population. If these uneducated people are given voting rights, chances are they are not going to vote for a good leader because how will an uneducated person even know what does it take to even have a developed nation.

Bangladesh, India and Pakistan needs Chinese style of government, Kingdom like Thailand and Malaysia or Sheikhdom like Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
