I see some merit in the cause of concern in Pakistani establishment Karan. U never let down your guard when you know that someone has a reason to come after you.

Re the content on the way forward in the video, it is based on the policy speech by President Obama at Westpoint. The President did say that the in order to win the war in Afganistan, they need to eliminate the Taliban decision making bodies and squeeze the supply chain of the Afgan Taliban operating out of Balochistan. It is logical for US to go down that road. But that is a statement of action based on certain contigencies arising and certain scenarios being created/not created.

This is where Pakistan should get worried. Their qualified support to the Taliban is the reason that they have given U.S to hurt them... and hurt U.S will..... because these networks are hurting the ISAF and the whole idea of a peaceful Afganistan. Hence, if Pakistan decides to continue with their support to the Taliban networks operating in Afganistan, they should not let their guard down for sure.

i too strongly beleive that pakistan is definitely heading for partition. US definitely knows that the nukes in pakistan will definitely aimed against them one day. but it is not that easy for US to take out nukes because of the after effect..in order to achieve this US, may along with india and israel is involved in day to day bombings to create confusion and anger in the minds of the people and once the threshold is crossed pakistan will go in civil war.. and that time is definitely be within this two year.
that was the right time for the US to denuke pakistan. look how the karachi people reacted after a bomb blast.. just imagine if the blast becomes frequent in karachi? but still the ball is in the pakistan's court to change the situation.

i dont think pakistan is going to be partitioned anytime soon.

absolutely no pointers towards that direction.

the most basic requirement for partition is the will on atleast one side to part from the other. whichever border u try to form to partition pakistan you will never get enough support on either side to draw it.

even if in the almost impossible case that pakistan is denuked, and divided along some border. the two parts have nothing to gain by remaining separate. the US will have to support an unpopular govt in the part not containing islamabad, rawalpindi and lahore. the govt will be pressured by militants and when the US stops supporting it, the millitants take over and reunite with the rest of pakistan.

and this misadventure will cost the US way too much in every way to be viable.

so stop daydreaming and learn to live with pakistan as it exists and will exist for a very long time.

pakistan was created for a reason. the areas you want to "give" to india is most of pakistan's population.

learn from history. they are proud pakistanis. they will not cow down and give up the idea of pakistan.

so most of pakistani population has to be kept independent . and with that pakistan will survive.

also NWFP wont want to combine with a war torn and impoverished afganistan.

both NFWP and balochistan share too much of a cultural heritage with rest of pakistan to be separated from it. the separation will be unnatural and be undone soon enough

Mate if people still want to together no force can make partition of there country nor any country..look at Germany how it become unified?forced partition cannot be sucessful in any country..A love for a country is still in peoples mind is there no one can divide it..just look at us for example..different religion,different culture,and different ethinic but still we are here as Indias ..same goes for Pakistan also

Well Punjab can't be integrated into India.Let it Remain in Pakistan.

Sindh can be integrated into India as the region is very under developed and neglected by GoP .And also the people are more pro india.Even if Sindh becomes an independent nation it would be grt for india.
