What's new

Obama calls India a job-creating giant for USA

it is typically the same in Europe
in a few words you summarize it all. thx.

I have friends in Indonesia > even you see in Indonesia they have one part of the problem.
they are not competitive to some markets so they need to protect the jobs
before it goes to the disaster point

I was teached when i was young the starvation/famine in India
when English made the machine textile and so many Indians couldn't survive it
This is what should be this world focus:
it is important to improve our economy and change our behaviors, but it is important too to protect our citizens against the economic disaster

It is either innovate or perish...it is stupid to cry about jobs going to China or India. If the US govt prevents American companies from using cheaper labor then American companies cannot compete in the world and will die.

There are advantages in the US which third world countries do not have..the American worker needs to use that to stay ahead in quality and innovation.

The days of a high school gradate learning programming and making 100,000 dollars annually or a high school dropout working on a assembly line making 60,000 dollars are over.

I agree with the first point.

You say about high teck. don't dream: chinese will be competitive to high tech too. india too. europe too. so usa will have to compete in one only particular job segment when china will have many segments.

not everybody in your country will be working in high tech

about programmation i am not an expert but i always feel that the prices of services are far too high here in europe. they exagerate so much. what is sad is:
you pay a lot for this but people didn't accept pay a normal price for the workers: the agriculture (making a problem here) or the manufacturers.

When/if the Chinese or Indians move on to high tech and do a better job then they will be the predominant economic power. The US does not have a right to be the predominant economy always..we have to innovate constantly to stay ahead.

The US has advantages the rest of the world can only dream about...lots of virgin land, abundant water resources, the ability to choose the best immigrants(for the most part excluding Mexico) due to geography etc etc If the US falls then it is only our fault not the fault of China or India.

china made a great mistake of histroy they mak india there enemy but they should make india there friend they cant be super power of future witout india

usa need india to keep them self on superpower level
china has to understand the real positon of world

i dont know what special they will get from pakistan just loss and loss to china and nothing else

Obama sort of taking USA towards socialism, and the wages will soon reflect that! Workers of the world unite!(for some change)

I think I told this to you only some time ago.

USA is a country with Atlantic ocean on one side,Pacific ocean on the other,a friendly country up north, another friendly country down south, with a vast piece of land enriched with lots of natural resources in between. Its a win-win situation. These advantages are compounded by the Americans of course who worked real hard to build their country.
